Reaksi Pasar Saham terhadap Pengumuman Penerbitan Obligasi Hijau pada Perusahaan Publik di Wilayah ASIA

Obligasi hijau yang dikeluarkan oleh perusahaan memberikan reaksi pasar saham yang bergantung kepada ketertarikan investor terhadap informasi obligasi hijau yang telah dipublikasikan. Kepemilikan perusahaan dan sertifikasi CBI Bondsterhadap obligasi hijau menjadi salah satu informasi yang bisa menarik perhatian investor. Tujuan penelitian ini adalah menguji pengaruh dari kepemilikan perusahaan dan sertifikasi CBI Bonds terhadap reaksi pasar saham di wilayah Asia saat pengumuman penerbitan obligasi hijau dengan menambahkan variabel size, leverage dan profitabilitas sebagai variabel kontrol selama periode 2019 – 2023. Teknik pengambilan sampel menggunakan purposive sampling dan diperoleh sampel akhir sebanyak 411 sampel perusahaan. Penelitian ini menggunakan teknik studi peristiwa dan analisis regresi cross sectional dengan menghasilkan hipotesis yang terdukung yaitu obligasi hijau yang mendapatkan sertifikasi CBI Bonds berpengaruh terhadap reaksi pasar.

Green bonds issued by companies generate stock market reactions depending on investor interest in the published information about the green bonds. firm ownership and CBI Bonds Certification are among the pieces of information that can attract investor attention. The aim of this study is to examine the impact of firm ownership and CBI Bonds Certification on stock market reactions in the Asian region during the announcement of green bond issuance, by adding variables such as size, leverage, and profitability as control variables during the period of 2019– 2023. The sampling technique used purposive sampling, resulting in a final sample of 411 companies. This study employs event study techniques and cross-sectional regression analysis, it was found that only supported hypothesis that CBI Bonds Certification affect market reactions.
