KONSUMSI PAKAN, SKOR KONDISI TUBUH, DAN POST PARTUM ESTRUS INDUK SAPI PERANAKAN ONGOLE DIBANDINGKAN SIMMENTAL-PERANAKAN ONGOLE DI VILLAGE BREEDING CENTER Yuana Andi Ristiyanto 08/270490/PT/05590 Intisari Tujuan penelitian adalah untuk mengetahui konsumsi pakan, skor kondisi tubuh (SKT) dan post partum estrus (PPE) induk sapi Peranakan Ongole (PO) dan Simmental-Peranakan Ongole (Simpo) di village breeding center Provinsi Daerah Istimewa Yogyakarta. Penelitian mulai bulan April sampai Desember 2012. Sebanyak 31 ekor induk sapi PO dan 12 ekor sapi Simpo diamati dari saat bunting tua sampai estrus pertama setelah beranak post partum estrus. Data yang dicatat adalah tanggal beranak, SKT saat beranak, tanggal estrus pertama setelah beranak, SKT saat terjadi estrus pertama setelah beranak, dan konsumsi pakan. Perbedaan SKT, PPE dan konsumsi pakan yang meliputi bahan kering (BK), protein kasar (PK) dan total digestible nutrients (TDN) antara induk sapi PO dan Simpo dianalisis menggunakan uji independent sample T-test. Konsumsi BK, PK dan TDN sapi PO tidak berbeda nyata dengan sapi Simpo (141,65 ± 48,65 vs 118,52 ± 14,44 g/kgBBM; 11,61 ± 6,51 vs 9,35 ± 1,72 g/kgBBM; 71,53 ± 28,28 vs 61,19 ± 6,21 g/kgBBM). Rata-rata PPE induk sapi PO dan Simpo tidak berbeda nyata yaitu 108,70 ± 28,69 dan 100,58 ± 33,01 hari. FEED CONSUMPTION, BODY CONDITION SCORE AND ONGOLE GRADE POST PARTUM ESTRUS COMPARED WITH SIMMENTAL ONGOLE CROSSBREED COWS IN VILLAGE BREEDING CENTER Yuana Andi Ristiyanto 08/270490/PT/05590 Abstract The research was conducted to observe feed consumption, body condition score (BCS) and post partum estrus (PPE) of Ongole Grade and Simmental Ongole Crossbreed Cows in village breeding center of Yogyakarta Special Region. This research was done on April until December 2012. Thirty one heads of Ongole Grade and 12 heads of Simmental Ongole Crossbreed Cows were observed since the last pregnant period until PPE. Calving date, body condition score (BCS) at calving, date of PPE, and BCS at PPE were recorded. Feed consumption data of Ongole Grade and Simmental Ongole Crossbreed Cows was collected. To calculate the differences of feed consumption, post partum estrus and BCS at calving and PPE, data were analyzed using independent sample T-test. Consumption of dry matter, crude protein and total digestible nutrients of Ongole Grade were not significant different than Simmental Ongole Crossbreed Cows (141.65 ± 48,65 vs 118,52 ± 14,44 g/kgMBW; 11,61 ± 6,51 vs 9,35 ± 1, 72 g/kgMBW; 71,53 ± 28,28 vs 61,19 ± 6,21 g/kgMBW). There were significant different of BCS at calving and PPE (2,64 ± 0,48 vs 2,83 ± 0,38 and 2,09 ± 0,39 vs 2,25 ± 0,49). There were not significant different of post partum estrus between Ongole Grade (108,70 ± 28,69 days) and Simmental Ongole Crossbreed Cows (100,58 ± 33,01 days). It was Concluded that feed consumption and post partum estrus of Ongole Grade and Ongole Crossbreed Cows was not significant different but BCS at calving and PPE was significant different.
