Kepuasan kerja dan Burnout pada polisi :: Kasus di Mapoltabes Pontianak

Penelitian ini merupakan penelitian eksplorasi dengan rancangan “cross sectionalâ€. Lokasi penelitian adalah Markas Kepolisian Kota Besar Pontianak. Subyek penelitian adalah polisi sebanyak 166 orang, burnout diukur dengan skala burnout, dan kepuasan kerja diukur dengan skala kepuasan kerja. Hipotesis yang diajukan dalam penelitian ini adalah ada hubungan negatif antara kepuasan kerja dan burnout dengan menggunakan analisis product moment, diperoleh hasil koefisien korelasi (r) antara kepuasan kerja dan burnout pada polisi adalah -0,477, dengan koefisien determinasi (r2) sebesar 0,227; p < 0,05. Artinya semakin tinggi kepuasan kerjanya akan semakin rendah tingkat burnout, penurunan kepuasan kerja terhadap burnout sebesar 22,7%. Hubungan antara kepuasan kerja terhadap masing-masing faktor burnout sebagai berikut : Terdapat hubungan negatif yang signifikan kepuasan kerja dengan burnout pada faktor kelelahan fisik koefisien korelasi r = -0,214, p < 0,01, terdapat hubungan negatif yang signifikan kepuasan kerja dengan burnout pada faktor kelelahan emosional koefisien korelasi r = -0,464, p < 0,01, terdapat hubungan negatif yang signifikan kepuasan kerja dengan burnout pada faktor kelelahan mental koefisien korelasi r = -0,453, p < 0,01, terdapat hubungan negatif yang signifikan kepuasan kerja dengan burnout pada faktor rendahnya penghargaan diri emosional koefisien korelasi r = -0,406, p < 0,01.
This research was aimed to find out the relationship between job satisfaction and burnout in police. It is an exploration research with cross sectional design. It was located in the police office (Mapoltabes) of Pontianak. The subject of this research was 166 people, burnout was measured with burnout scale, and job satisfaction was measured with job satisfaction scale. The proposed hypothesis in this research was that there is a negative relationship between job satisfaction and burnout by using product moment analysis and it was obtained that the result of correlation coefficient (r) between job satisfaction and burnout of police was -0,477, with determinant coefficient (r2) was 0,227; p < 0,05. This meant that the higher the job satisfaction, the burnout level will becomes lower, and the decreasing of job satisfaction toward burnout was 22,7%. The relationship between job satisfaction toward each burnout factor was that: there was a significant negative relationship between job satisfaction with burnout in the factor of physical fatigue correlation coefficient with r = - 0,214, p < 0,01, there was a significant negative relationship between job satisfaction with burnout in the factor of emotional fatigue correlation coefficient with r = - 0,464, p < 0,01, there was a significant negative relationship between job satisfaction with burnout in the factor of mental fatigue correlation coefficient with r = - 0,453, p < 0,01, and there was a significant negative relationship between job satisfaction with burnout in the factor of the low self emotional appreciation correlation coefficient with r = - 0,406, p< 0,01.
