ANALISIS DINAMIKA KELOMPOK PETERNAK SAPI POTONG PEMBIBITAN MEKARSAEI DAN PENGGEMUKAN NGUDI MAKMUR DESA PANGGUNGHARJO, SEWON, BANTUL Rully Perwitasari 06/199948/EPT/00184 2012 INTISARI Penelitian ini dilakukan dengan tujuan untuk menganalisis tingkat dinamika kelompok peternak sapi dengan pola pemeliharaan yang berbeda yakni pola pemeliharaan pembibitan dan penggemukan. Penelitian ini dilakukan di kelompok peternak sapi potong pembibitan (Mekarsari) dan kelompok peternak sapi potong penggemukan (Ngudi Makmur) di Kabupaten Bantul ditinjau dari aspek psikososial. Metode yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah metode sensus. Pengambilan data dilakukan dengan menggunakan kuesioner yang telah diuji validitas dan reliabilitasnya. Hasil uji unsur-unsur dinamika kelompok yang terdiri dari sembilan unsur dianalisis secara deskriptif. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa pada kelompok peternak sapi potong pembibitan (Mekarsari), unsur-unsur dinamika kelompok tujuan kelompok, struktur kelompok, fungsi tugas kelompok, pengembangan kelompok, kekompakan kelompok, suasana kelompok dan keefektifan kelompok mempunyai skor masing-masing adalah 545 (75,49%), 1275 (78,70%), 1388 (77,11%), 1522 (70,46%), 901 (71,51%), 519 (72,08%), 388 (71,85%) dan termasuk kategori tinggi, sedangkan pada unsur unsur tekanan kelompok dan agenda terselubung mempunyai skor masing-masing adalah 359 (66,48%), 118 (65,56%) dan termasuk kategori sedang. Skor total yang dicapai kelompok ini adalah 7053 (73,93%) dan termasuk kategori tinggi. Pada kelompok peternak sapi potong penggemukan (Ngudi Makmur), unsur-unsur dinamika kelompok tujuan, fungsi tugas kelompok, pengembangan kelompok, kekompakan kelompok dan suasana kelompok mempunyai skor masing-masing adalah 417 (69,50%), 1002 (66,80%), 1214 (67,44%), 712 (67,81%), 416 (69,33%), dan termasuk kategori tinggi, sedangkan pada unsur unsur struktur kelompok, tekanan kelompok, keefektifam kelompok dan agenda terselubung mempunyai skor masingmasing adalah 887 (65,70%), 261 (58,00%), 295 (65,56%), 86 (57,33%) dan termasuk kategori sedang. Skor total yang dicapai kelompok ini adalah 5205 (65,47%) dan termasuk kategori sedang. (Kata Kunci : Kelompok peternak sapi potong, Dinamika kelompok)

THE GROUP DYNAMICS ANALYSIS OF BREEDING MEKARSARI AND FATTENING NGUDI MAKMUR BEEF CATTLE FARMER’S in Panggungharjo Village, Sewon District of Bantul Regency Rully Perwitasari 06/199948/EPT/00184 2012 ABSTRACT The objective of the research was to know the level of group dynamics of beef cattle farmer’s with different pattern of rearing cattle, that was, breeding and fattening pattern. The study was carried out at breeding beef cattle farmer’s group (Mekarsari) and fattening beef cattle farmer’s group (Ngudi Makmur) in Bantul Regency viewed from of the aspect of psycosocial. The methods used in this study was a census method by visiting all the research object directly. Data retrieval is performed using a questionnaire that was tested on validity and reliability. The test result of the elements of group dynamics data that consist of nine elements was analyzed descriptively. The results showed that on the breeding beef cattle farmer’s group (Mekarsari), the elements of group dynamics consist of group objective, group structure, group function assignment, group development, group compactness, group atmosphere and group effectiveness have a score each of which is 545 (75,49%), 1275 (78,70%), 1388 (77,11%), 1522 (70,46%), 901 (71,51%), 519 (72,08%), 388 (71,85%) and in the category of high, while the elements of group dynamics consist of group pressure and group covert agenda have a score each of which is 359 (66,48%), 118 (65,56%) and in the category of medium. The total score is achieved in this group are 7053 (73,93%) and in the category of high.
