2013 | Skripsi | S1 PETERNAKANPRODUKSI DAN KOMPOSISI SUSU KAMBING PERANAKAN ETTAWA DI DATARAN TINGGI DAN DI DATARAN RENDAH DAERAH ISTIMEWA YOGYAKARTA Rian Rosartio 08/269694/PT/05484 INTISARI Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui dan membandingkan status fisiologi, konsumsi pakan, produksi dan komposisi susu kambing di daerah dataran tinggi, dan dataran rendah di Daerah Istimewa Yogyakarta. Kambing yang digunakan dalam penelitian adalah 10 induk laktasi kambing Peranakan Ettawa di masing-masing lokasi, yaitu Kulonprogo dan Bantul. Kambing yang dijadikan sampel diukur status fisiologi, konsumsi pakan, produksi susu dan komposisi susu. Pengukuran dilakukan dalam 3 ulangan, dengan 1 ulangan selama 7 hari. Status fisiologi diukur 3 kali sehari pada pagi, siang dan sore hari. Konsumsi pakan diukur selama 21 hari berturut-turut. Produksi susu diukur dari hasil pemerahan pagi dan sore. Komposisi susu diukur meliputi kadar lemak, kadar protein dan berat jenis. Data yang diperoleh dianalisis data menggunakan analisis One way-anova. Pengukuran produksi susu di Kulonprogo adalah 487,14±163,16 liter/hari dan di Bantul adalah 407,38±192,08 liter/hari. Rerata kadar lemak, kadar protein, berat jenis susu di Kulonprogo adalah 4,84±1,51 %, 4,41±0,59 % dan 1,0272±0,0008, sedangkan di Bantul 6,30±0,81 %, 3,97±0,68%, dan 1,0263±0,0015. Kesimpulan dari penelitian ini adalah kondisi lingkungan yang berbeda di dua lokasi menyebabkan perbedaan status fisiologi, konsumsi pakan, produksi susu dan komposisi susu kambing Peranakan Ettawa. MILK PRODUCTION AND MILK COMPOSITION OF ETAWAH CROSSBRED GOATS IN UPLAND AND LOWLAND OF YOGYAKARTA Rian Rosartio 08/269694/PT/05484 ABSTRACT The objective of this study was to determine the difference of phyisiological status, feed intake, milkproduction and milk composition of Etawah Crossbred goats in upland and lowland areaof Yogyakarta. The study used ten lactating Etawah Crossbred goats in Kulonprogo and Bantul. Assessmentfor phyisiological status, feed intake, milk production and milk composition was replicated was three times lasted for seven days. Physiological status wasmeasured three times/day in the morning, afternoon and evening. Feed intake was measured everyday for 21 consecutive days. Milk production was measured by milking goat every morning and evening. Milk composition was measured by fat content, protein content and milk gravity. Data were analyzed by one way-anova. Average milk production of goat in Kulonprogo was 487,14±163,16 liters/day and in Bantul was 407,38±192,08 liters/day. Average fat content, protein content, and milk gravity of goat in Kulonprogo and Bantulwere 4,84±1,51 %; 4,41±0,59 % and 1,0272±0,0008, and 6,30±0,81 %; 3,97±0,68%, and 1,0263±0,0015. Respectively the study concluded that theenvironmental condition in upland and lowland area is a major differences on physiological status, feed intake, milk production and milk composition of etawah crossbred goats.
