Sebanyak 90 ekor itik Turi usia 24 minggu digunakan dalam penelitian ini. Ternak dibagi ke dalam tiga kelompok perlakuan pakan dengan tiga ulangan untuk setiap perlakuan dan setiap ulangan terdiri dari 10 ekor itik Turi. Perlakuan pakan terdiri dari level Ca 2,75; 3,25 dan 3,75%. Penelitian dilakukan selama delapan minggu. Data yang diamati meliputi: (a) konsumsi pakan (g/ekor/hari), (b) konsumsi kalsium (g/ekor/hari), (c) produksi telur (%), (d) berat telur (g) dan (e) konversi pakan. Data hasil penelitian dianalisis dengan analisis variansi metode Rancangan Acak Lengkap (RAL) Pola Searah. Penelitian menunjukkan pemberian level Ca dalam pakan berpengaruh tidak nyata terhadap konsumsi pakan, produksi telur, berat telur dan konversi pakan, tetapi berpengaruh nyata terhadap konsumsi kalsium (P<0,05). Hasil penelitian menunjukkan konsumsi pakan masingmasing perlakuan berturut-turut adalah 158,63; 156,79; dan 159,26 g/ekor/hari dengan konsumsi kalsium 4,36; 5,09; dan 5,97 g/ekor/hari. Produksi telur masing-masing perlakuan adalah 73,28; 77,88; dan 78,78% dengan rata-rata berat telur 64,67; 66,33; dan 65,00 g, sedangkan konversi pakan sebesar 3,53; 3,06; dan 3,12. THE EFFECTS OF CALCIUM LEVEL INTAKE DIETS ON PERFORMANCE PRODUCTION OF TURI DUCK Irna Rifnawati 08/270178/PT/05553 ABSTRACT This study was conducted to determine the effect of various calcium level on the production performance of Turi duck. A total of 90 female ducks 24 weeks of age were used in this study. Which were combination of three level of Ca: 2.75; 3.25 and 3.75% level. Each treatment used three replication cages, consisted of 10 ducks each. The experiment was conducted for eight weeks. Data recorded included: (a) feed intake (g/duck/day), (b) calcium intake (g/duck/day), (c) egg production (%HDP), (d) egg weight (g) and (e) feed conversion. All quantitative data obtained during the study were analyzed by using Completely Randomized Design – One Way Classification test. The result of the variables recorded did not show significant differences statistically, except calcium intake (P<0,05). The result showed feed intake were 158.63; 156.79 and 159.26 g/duck/day with intake of calcium were 4.36; 5.09 and 5.97 g/duck/day. Egg production were 73.28; 77.88 and 78.78%, egg weight were 64.67; 66.63 and 65.00 g, feed conversion were 3.53; 3.06 and 3.12. (Key Word: Turi Duck, Ca Ratio, Performance Production)
