This research entitled "Analysis of Factors that Influence Food Security in Indonesia in 2019-2023; an Ordinal Logistic Regression Approach" aims to identify factors that influence food security in Indonesia during the 2019-2023 period. The focus of the analysis is on the six provinces that experience deficits. food, namely DKI Jakarta, Riau Islands, North Kalimantan, West Papua, North Maluku, and Gorontalo. The method used in this research is ordinal logistic regression to understand the influence of factors such as population, rice harvest area, rainfall, and average expenditure on food on food security as measured by the Food Security Index. The theory underlying this research includes the concept of food security developed by FAO (1992) which defines food security as a situation where all people have adequate physical and economic access. enough for safe and nutritious food. In addition, Engel's theory (1857) is used to understand the relationship between income and expenditure on food. The results of the research show that all dependent variables (population, rice harvest area, rainfall, and average expenditure on food) have an odds ratio value of >1, which means that there is an opportunity to increase food security along with an increase in the value of these variables."> 1 yang artinya mengindikasikan bahwa terjadinya peluang peningkatan ketahanan pangan seiring dengan kenaikan nilai variabel-variabel tersebut.
