PENAKSIRAN POTENSI HUTAN RAKYAT DAN KONTRIBUSINY A TERHADAP PENDAPATAN PETANI ( Studi Kasus di Dusun Jegoh, Desa Rejosari, Kecamatan Jatisrono, Kabupaten Wonogiri )

Tujuan utama petani mengelo]a hutan rakyat adalah untuk memenuhi kebutuhan hidupnya. Semakin besar kontribusi hutan rak yat terhadap pendapatan mereka maka keberadaan hutan rakyat akan terns dipertahankan. Tttjuan penelitian ini adalah menaksir potensi basil kayu dan non kayu (tangible product) hutan rakyat, menghitung besarnya kontribusi dari sektor butan rakyat terhadap pendapatan total petani dalam setahun terakhir dan mengetahui upaya pengembangan menuju hutan rakyat 1estari. Penelitian ini dilakukan di Dusun Jegoh, Desa Rejosari, Kecamatan Jatisrono, Kabupaten Wonogiri. Penehtian dilakukan selama bulan SeptemberOktober 2006. Metode penelitian yang di gun akan adalah metode survai, sedangkan metode pengambilan sampel yang digun akan adalal1 Stratified Random Sampling. Penghitungan potensi kayu dilakukan dengan inventarisasi dengan pengukuran 100 % pada setiap lahan respond en. Standing stock di Dusun Jegoh, Desa Rejosari, Kecamatan Jatisrono, Kabupaten Wonogiri dengan hutan rakyat seluas 77,91 Ha sebesar 2.699,37 m3 dan rata-rata volume kayu 34,65 m 3/Ha, sedangkan total jumlah pohon sebanyak 3. 7 19 batang dan rata-rata jumlah pohon 260 batang/Ha. Potensi terbesar ada lah jati yaitu 52,71 % dari potensi total kayu hutan rakyat. Potensi non kayu terbesar adalab biji mete dengan produktivitas rata-rata sebesar 164,49 kg/Ha/tahun dan total produktivitas biji mete di lahan hutan rakyat Dusun Jegob sebesar 12,831 ton/tahun. Besamya kontribusi hutan rakyat terhadap pendapatan total petani sebesar 39,09%, dengan rincian; pada strata I sebesar 29,23%, strata 11 sebesar 40, 11 % dan strata Ill sebesar 4 7, 93 %. Kontribusi rata-rata terbesar terhadap pendapatan total petani dari sektor jasa sebesar 35,14%. Riap jati Dusun Jegob sebesar 142,29 m3/talmn dan riap total semua jenis adalah 293,89 m3/tahun. Volume tebangan jati setahtm terakhir sebesar 43,45 m3 s ehingga dapat dikatakan kelestarian hutan rakyat di Dusun Jegoh masih terjaga karena volume tebangan setalmn terakhfr lebih keci1 dibanding riap total dusun. Upaya yang di]akukan petani untuk menjaga kelestarian basil hutan masih relatif sederhana yaitu penanaman kemb ali setelal1 penebangan.

The fanner' s main purpose in managing of community forest is to fulfill their necessities of life. The bigger community forest contribution to the fanner income, the bigger chance of community forest to be existed. The objective of this research were to estimate the potency of timber and non timber (tangible product), to calculate the contribution value of community forest to the total fanner income and to know the fanner effort in order to sustain the community forest. This research was carried out in Jegoh Sub Village, Rejosari Village, Jatisrono Sub District, Wonogiri District. This research was done at September - October 2006. This research used Survey Method and for sampling method used Stratified Random Sampling method. The estimation of timber potency was done by stocktaking 100% estimation of timber potency in each fanner's land. The standing stock in Jegoh Sub Village, Rejosari Village, Jatisrono Sub District, Wonogiri District, whose total community forest width was 77 .91 hectare, was 2,699.37 m3 and average standing stock was 34.65 m3/hectare. The total timber was 3,719 and its average was 260/hectare. The biggest timber potency was teak wood that was 52.71 % from total timber potency of community forest. The biggest non timber potency was cashew whose annually average productivity was 164.49 kg/hectare and total cashew productivity in Jegoh Sub Village community forest was 12 .831 ton/hectare. The community forest contribution to the total fanner income was 39.09%, in detail; for stratum I was 29.23%, stratum II was 40.11% and stratum III was 47.93%. The biggest average contribution to the total farmer income came from service sector as many as 35.14%. The annually teak increment ofJegoh Sub Village was 142.29 m3 and the annually total increment of all type of timber was 293.89 m3 • The total volume of teak cruising in a last year was 43.45 m3 , so it could be concluded that the Jegoh community forest sustainability has still achieved because the last year cruising volume was smaller than total increment of sub village. The farmer's effort in order to keep the sustainability of forest yield was relatively simple, namely replant after cruising.
