Persepsi Mahasiswa Fakultas Pertanian UGM terhadap Tantangan dan Peluang Pertanian Berkelanjutan di Era Digital

Perkembangan teknologi digital telah membawa dampak besar pada sektor pertanian salah satunya menciptakan peluang baru sekaligus tantangan yang perlu diatasi. Mahasiswa Fakultas Pertanian Universitas Gadjah Mada (UGM) sebagai generasi penerus di sektor pertanian memiliki peran penting dalam memahami dan menghadapi transformasi ini. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menganalisis persepsi mahasiswa Fakultas Pertanian UGM dan faktor-faktor yang memengaruhi persepsi mahasiswa terhadap tantangan dan peluang pertanian berkelanjutan di era digital. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode analisis deskriptif dengan pendekatan kuantitatif. Pengambilan sampel sebanyak 60 orang mahasiswa dilakukan secara acak sederhana (simple random sampling) dari keseluruhan mahasiswa Fakultas Pertanian UGM yang telah dibagi menjadi 5 kelompok dari angkatan 2020 dan 5 kelompok dari angkatan 2021 serta dari masing-masing angkatan diambil 30 responden sehingga didapat total keseluruhan 60 responden. Analisis data menggunakan uji proporsi, dan analisis regresi linear berganda. Hasil analisis dalam penelitian menunjukkan bahwa lebih dari 50% mahasiswa memiliki persepsi yang positif terhadap tantangan dan peluang pertanian berkelanjutan di era digital. Faktor pengetahuan mahasiswa berpengaruh signifikan terhadap persepsi mahasiswa Fakultas Pertanian UGM, dimana mahasiswa yang memiliki pengetahuan tinggi memiliki persepsi yang positif. Selain itu, dukungan keluarga mahasiswa juga berpengaruh signifikan terhadap persepsi mahasiswa Fakultas Pertanian UGM, dimana dukungan keluarga mahasiswa yang tinggi membuat mahasiswa memiliki persepsi yang positif. Sedangkan variabel pengalaman dan akses informasi tidak berpengaruh signifikan terhadap persepsi mahasiswa Fakultas Pertanian UGM.

The development of digital technology has significantly impacted the agricultural sector, creating new opportunities as well as challenges that need to be addressed. Students of the Faculty of Agriculture at Universitas Gadjah Mada (UGM), as the next generation in the agricultural sector, play an important role in understanding and facing this transformation. This research aims to analyze the perception of students from the Faculty of Agriculture at UGM and the factors that affect their perceptions of the challenges and opportunities of sustainable agriculture in the digital era. This research uses a descriptive analysis method with a quantitative approach. A sample of 60 students was selected using simple random sampling from the entire population of students in the Faculty of Agriculture at UGM. The sample was divided into 5 groups from the class of 2020 and 5 groups from the class of 2021, with 30 respondents taken from each group, resulting in a total of 60 respondents. Data analysis was conducted using proportion tests and multiple linear regression analysis. The results of the analysis indicate that more than 50% of the students have a positive perception of the challenges and opportunities of sustainable agriculture in the digital era. The knowledge factor significantly affect the students' perceptions, with students who possess high knowledge levels having positive perceptions. Additionally, family support significantly affects the students' perceptions, with high family support leading to positive perceptions. On the other hand, the variables of experience and access to information do not significantly affect the students' perceptions.
