Beton adalah campuran material yang terdiri dari semen, agregat kasar (kerikil), agregat halus (pasir), dan atau tanpa adanya penambahan bahan aditif (Additive atau Admixture), dan air yang dicampur menjadi satu membentuk massa yang keras menyerupai batuan. Beton sering digunakan karena memiliki kekuatan tekan yang baik. Namun dibalik itu, beton memiliki nilai tarik yang rendah sehingga dalam penerapannya dilapangan diperlukan baja tulangan (Reinforced Bar) dan atau material tambahan, seperti serat baja, serat alami, kaca, dll membentuk beton serat sebagai perbaikan sifat beton
Concrete is a mixture of materials consisting of cement, coarse aggregate (gravel), fine aggregate (sand), and/or without the addition of additives (Additive or Admixture), and water mixed together to form a hard mass resembling rock. Concrete is often used because it has good compressive strength. However, behind that, concrete has a low tensile value so that in its application in the field it requires reinforcing steel (Reinforced Bar) and/or additional materials, such as steel fiber, natural fiber, glass, etc. to form fiber concrete to improve the properties of concrete.
