Nilai Nutritif Sagu (Metroxylon Spp.) dan pengaruhnya dalam ransum ayam broiler dengan suplementasi metionin dan lisin

2004 | Tesis | S2 Ilmu PeternakanPenelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui kandungan nutrien dan mempelajari pengaruh penggunaan sagu (Metroxylon Spp.) dalam ransum ayam broiler dengan suplementasi metionin dan lisin. Materi yang digunakan adalah 180 ekor ayam broiler jantan strain ISB-707 umur tujuh hari. Ayam broiler dialokasikan secara acak ke dalam sembilan kelompok pakan perlakuan. Tiap-tiap perlakuan diulang empat kali dan masing-masing ulangan terdiri atas lima ekor serta lama pengamatan 35 hari. Penelitian ini dilakukan sebanyak tiga tahap, tahap pertama meliputi: analisis kandungan nutrien dan asam amino serta kecernaan protein in vitro, tahap kedua uji biologis dan ketiga mengukur energi metabolis sagu segar dan sagu kukus. Pakan perlakuan yang digunakan sebanyak sembilan kelompok, yaitu: R0 (kontrol), R1(15% sagu segar), R2 (15% sagu segar + 0,1% metionin dan 0,3 % lisin), R3 (30% sagu segar), R4 (30% sagu segar + 0,1% metionin dan 0,3% lisin), R5 (15% sagu kukus), R6 (15% sagu kukus + 0,1% metionin dan 0,3% lisin), R7 (30% sagu kukus) dan R8 (30% sagu kukus + 0,1% metionin dan 0,3% lisin). Rancangan percobaan yang digunakan Rancangan Acak Lengkap (RAL) pola searah dan uji Kontras Ortogonal. Variabel yang diamati tahap pertama meliputi kandungan nutrien, asam amino dan kecernaan protein in vitro, tahap kedua penampilan ayam broiler, berat karkas, persentase karkas dan lemak abdominal serta tahap ketiga mengukur energi metabolis dari sagu segar dan sagu kukus. Hasil penelitian ini dapat disimpulkan bahwa kandungan bahan kering dan ETN sagu kukus lebih tinggi daripada sagu segar, sedangkan protein kasar, serat kasar, abu dan kalsium sagu segar lebih tinggi daripada sagu kukus, kandungan asam amino sagu segar lebih tinggi daripada sagu kukus serta kecernaan protein in vitro dan energi metabolis sagu kukus lebih tinggi daripada sagu segar. Penggunaan sagu segar maupun sagu kukus masingmasing 15% dan 30% dalam pakan memberikan pertambahan berat badan dan persentase karkas yang lebih baik, sedangkan konsumsi pakan dan berat karkas berbeda tidak nyata. Suplementasi metionin dan lisin dapat menurunkan konversi pakan dan persentase lemak abdominal
The experiment was conducted to investigate nutrient content and to study the effects of sago (Metroxylon Spp.) in broiler ration with supplemented methionine and lysine. One hundred and eigthty male broilers chickens of ISB- 707 strain seven days olds, were randomly devided into nine ration groups. Each treatment consist of three replications and five birds each. The experiment had been done of three phase, i.e: nutrient content analyses and amino acids, protein in vitro digestibility, biology assay and metabolizable energy from fresh sago and steamed sago. The ration being used were: R0 (controle), R1 (15% fresh sago), R2 (15% fresh sago + 0,1% methionine and 0,3% lysine), R3 (30% fresh sago), R4 (30% fresh sago + 0,1% methionine and 0,3% lysine), R5 (15% steamed sago), R6 (15% steamed sago + 0,1% methionine and 0,3% lysine), R7 (30% steamed sago + 0,1% methionine and 0,3% lysine) and R8 (30% steamed sago + 0,1% methionine and 0,3% lysine). The experiment was designed by Completely Randomized Design and Orthogonal Contrast Test were used to determine mean differences between treatments. The variables observed were: at first phase were nutrient content, amino acids and protein in vitro digestibility, at second phase were performance of broiler, carcass weigth, carcass persentage and abdominal fat persentage and at the third phase were metabolizable energy from fresh sago and steamed sago. The conclusion of the experiment indicated showed that crude protein, dry matter and crude fiber of fresh sago were better than from steamed sago, amino acids content fresh sago were better than from steamed sago, protein in vitro digestibility and energy metabolizable value steamed sago were better than from fresh sago. The used of fresh sago and steamed sago in ration 15% and 30% level could be inceased on weight gain, carcass persentage and feed consumption and carcass weight had not significantly defferences. Methionine and lysine supplementation decreased of feed conversion and abdominal fat persentages.
