Tesis ini berjudul Konsep Kenegaraan Muhammad Hatta. Tinjauan Filsafat Politik. Tesis ini hendak mengkaji secara kritis konsep-konsep kunci Muhammad Hatta yaitu menemukan penjelasan sistematis dan koherensi dari Konsep kenegaraan Muhammad Hatta sebagai salah satu pemikiran melalui filsafat politik, tujuan penulisan tesis ini untuk mengetahui apa yang menjadi ide dasar negara dan makna negara, serta mengetahui konsep kenegaraan Muhammad Hatta bagi perencanaan politik bangsa dan negara Indonesia dewasa ini. Objek material tesis ini Konsep Kenegaraan Muhammad Hatta, sedangkan objek formal yang dipilih adalah filsafat politik yang didefinisikan sebagai tinjauan kritis terhadap segala pemikiran tentang konsep kenegaraan yang berkaitan dengan kodrat dan tujuan masyarakat politik. Mengingat adanya distansiasi waktu antara penulis dan Muhammad Hatta, maka metodologi yang dipakai untuk menganalisa teks sebagai ekspresi tetap Muhammad Hatta menggunakan hermeneutika dialektik, dengan tehnik lingkaran hermeneutika pertanyaan dan jawaban, Penulis menafsirkan keseluruhan teks dari bagian bagianya dan memahami bagian-bagian teks dari keseluruhan, melalui unsur unsur Deskripsi, Koherensi Internal, Interpretasi dan Komparasi. Pemikiran Muhammad Hatta bahwa keadilan dalam negara yang bersifat demokratis dan menjadikan masyarakat tampa diskriminasi menjadi ide dasar dalam pemikiran dan perjuangan tentang kenegaraan, maka negara adalah Negara pengurus berbentuk Republik bersendikan rakyat dengan sistem desentralisasi, dengan otonomi daerah yang diperluas. Muhammad Hatta sering sekali dihadapkan dengan kondisi-kondisi yang berlawanan dengan ide dasar yang dimiliki, kegagalannya berperan dalam sistem sosialisme merupakan kegagalan dari seorang tokoh yang memiliki ide yang berhadapan dengan situasi politik saat ini, bagi masyarakat Indeonesia dewasa ini pemikiran Muhammad Hatta dapat kehilangan relevansinya tetapi idealismenya tetap bernilai sepanjang masa.

The thesis presented its title in The civil society concept of Muhammad Hatta. Besed on the political philosophy. This thesis is critically discussing the real concept of Muhammad Hatta, which is finding the systematical explanation and the coherence of the civil society concept of Muhammad Hatta as one of though the political philosophy. The main goal of this theses is to know what really used as the basic of our country and the meaning of it, to know the civilian concept of Muhammad Hatta for the political plan of our nation and our country now days. The material object of this theses is the civil society concept of Muhammad Hatta, the formal object focused is political philosophy which is definite as critical point of view to every single thought about the civil society concept related to the way it should be and olso the goal of political society. To bear in mind, the period spent between the writer and olso Muhammad Hatta, so the methodology used for analysing the text as the expression of Muhammad Hatta use the dialectic hermeneutic, using the circle questionimg and answering hermeneutic, the writer estimates all of the text from its parts and understand all each of the text part, through the description side, the internal coherence, interpretation and olsa the comparision. Muhammad Hatta stated that the fairness of a democratic country and guide the sciety without the discrimination become the basic idea in thinking and the struggle about the country, so the country is a real republic country based on the society using the decentralization and the enhance the district area. Muhammad Hatta was often faced with the contrary condition with the basic idea had, the failures which have the big rule in socialism system is a kind of failure from a figure who has idea which face with the political situation now days, for Indonesian people, the way of Muhammad Hatta thinking can be far away from its relevant, but his idealism is always still alive and precious forever
