Integrasi ekonomi sebagai determinan masuknya FDI Jepang ke kawasan ASEAN-4 Tahun 1989-1997

The object of this research is to analyze the economy integration as adeterminant of Japan”s Outward to ASEAN-4 Countries in Periode of 1989-2001. other determinants, like market size, relative labor cost, tax, inflation rate, infrastructure, and real exchange rate will be analyzed as well. The analyzis framework of this research is data panel using GLS method. The data that we’re using comprise ASEAN-4 cross section data (Indonesia, Malaysia, Philipina, and Thailand) and Japan as the home country. The observation comprise the periode from 1989-2001. Based on outcome of the regression we could conclude that the establishment of AFTA has attracted Japan’s FDI Outward to ASEAN-4 countries. Other findings from this research are infrastructure, inflation rate, relative labor cost, real exchange rate, market size are determinant of Japan’s FDI Outward to ASEAN-4 countries.
