KINERJA REPRODUKSI INDUK SAPI PERANAKAN ONGOLE DAN PERSILANGAN SIMMENTAL DENGAN PERANAKAN ONGOLE DI KECAMATAN BANTUL KABUPATEN BANTUL Devi Rezky Wijayati 07/253286/PT/5304 Intisari Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui kinerja reproduksi induk sapi Peranakan Ongole (PO) dan persilangan Simmental dengan Peranakan Ongole (SimPO) di Kecamatan Bantul Kabupaten Bantul Yogyakarta. Data diperoleh dengan melakukan wawancara kepada 40 peternak induk sapi PO dan 60 peternak induk sapi SimPO. Data yang disurvei untuk peternak adalah profil peternak, untuk induk sapi meliputi umur pertama kawin, calving interval, post partum estrus, post partum mating, dan service per conception. Data bersifat kualitatif dianalisis dengan menghitung persentasenya, sedangkan data kuantitatif dianalisis menggunakan one way anova. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan rata-rata induk sapi PO dan SimPO memiliki umur induk pertama kawin, calving interval, post partum estrus, post partum mating, dan service per conception berturut-turut yaitu 23,53±3,113 bulan vs 22,97±3,395 bulan; 14,08±1,403 bulan vs 14,12±1,851 bulan; 3,73±0,960 bulan vs 3,85±1,273 bulan; 4,40±0,871 bulan vs 4,70±1,280 bulan; 1,63±0,868 kali vs 1,85±0,954 kali. Disimpulkan bahwa kinerja reproduksi induk sapi PO tidak berbeda nyata dengan induk sapi SimPO di Kecamatan Bantul Kabupaten Bantul. (Kata kunci: Kinerja reproduksi induk, Sapi PO, Sapi SimPO)

REPRODUCTIVE PERFORMANCE OF ONGOLE CROSSBRED AND SIMMENTAL CROSSBRED COW IN BANTUL DISTRICT BANTUL REGENCY Devi Rezky Wijayati 07/253286/PT/5304 Abstract The research was conducted to investigate the reproductive performance of Ongole crossbred and Simmental crossbred cow in Bantul district Bantul regency. Interview was carried out to 40 Ongole crossbred and 60 Simmental crossbred farmers. The respondents identity and the first mating, calving interval, post partum estrus, post partum mating, and service per conception of cow were collected. The data of respondent identity were analyzed descriptively, while the reproductive performance data were analyzed by using one way anova. The result showed the first mating, calving interval, post partum estrus, post partum mating, service per conception of Ongole Crossbreed and Simmental Crossbreed were 23.53±3.113 months vs 22.97±3.395 months; 14.08±1.403 months vs 14.12±1.851 months; 3.73±0.960 months vs 3.85±1.273 months; 4.40±0.871 months vs 4.70±1.280 months; 1.63±0.868 vs 1.85±0.954 respectively.
