Hubungan Persepsi dan Partisipasi Masyarakat Desa Penyangga Tegalmulyo Dalam Upaya Relokasi Anggrek di Taman Nasional Gunung Merapi

Anggrek Vanda tricolor yang merupakan nilai penting kawasan Taman Nasional Gunung Merapi keberadaannya hampir punah. Untuk itu dibutuhkan upaya relokasi untuk menjaga kelestarian anggrek di Taman Nasional Gunung Merapi yang melibatkan masyarakat agar dapat berjalan efektif dan efisisen. Salah satu upaya untuk keberlanjutan relokasi anggrek yaitu dengan mengetahui persepsi dan partisipasi masyarakat, sebagai acuan bagi pengelola untuk mengetahui kondisi partisipasi dan persepsi masyarakat di Desa Penyangga Tegalmulyo. Tujuan penelitian yaitu untuk mengetahui persepsi dan partisipasi masyarakat Desa Penyangga terhadap upaya relokasi anggrek di Taman Nasional Gunung Merapi serta analisis hubungannya.

Metode dasar yang akan digunakan dalam penelitian yaitu metode survei dan observasi yang menggunakan teknik pengambilan data (instrumen penlitian) melalui kuesioner. Teknik pengambilan data dari responden/sampel menggunakan teknik puposive sampling dengan menggunakan 100 responden. Analisis data persepsi dan partisipasi masyarakat menggunakan skala likert yang diinterpretasikan dengan rumus jenjang skor, kemudian untuk hubungan persepsi dan partisipasi masyarakat menggunakan analisis deskriptif.

Persepsi masyarakat Desa Penyangga Tegalmulyo terhadap upaya relokasi anggrek dalam hasil perhitungan jenjang skor termasuk dalam kategori skor tinggi dengan interpretasi masyararakat mendukung upaya relokasi anggrek. Partisipasi masyarakat dalam upaya relokasi anggrek termasuk dalam tingkatan tidak lansung (Indirect), masyarakat Desa Penyangga Tegalmulyo belum melakukan konsultasi secara maksimal, disamping itu masyarakat tidak memberikan umpan balik terhadap informasi yang diberikan. Deskripsi hubungan persepsi dan partisipasi masyarakat Desa Penyangga Tegalmulyo terhadap upaya relokasi anggrek menggambarkan kecenderungan hubungan yang tidak linier.

The Vanda tricolor orchid, which is an important value in the Mount Merapi National Park area, is almost extinct. For this reason, relocation efforts are needed to preserve orchids in Mount Merapi National Park which involves the community so that it can run effectively and efficiently. One of the efforts for the sustainability of orchid relocation is to know the perception and participation of the community, as a reference for managers to know the conditions of participation and perception of the community in the village of buffer Tegalmulyo. The purpose of the study was to determine the perception and participation of the buffer village community to the orchid relocation efforts in Mount Merapi National Park and relationship analysis.

The basic method that will be used in the study is the survey and observation method that uses data retrieval techniques (research instruments) through questionnaires. Technique of data collection from respondents/samples using puposive sampling with 100 respondents. Data analysis of perception and participation community using likert scale which is interpreted by the formula of the score level, then for the relationship of perception and participation community using descriptive correlation.

The perception of the Tegalmulyo Buffer Village community towards Orchid relocation efforts in the calculation of the score level is included in the High Score category with the interpretation that the community supports Orchid relocation efforts. Community participation in Orchid relocation efforts is included the indirect level (Indirect), the community of Tegalmulyo Buffer Village has not consulted optimally, besides the community does not provide feedback on the information provided. The description of the relationship between perceptions and participation of the Tegalmulyo Buffer Village community to Orchid relocation efforts illustrates the tendency for a non-linear relationship.
