Pengaruh perbedaan individual dan karakteristik sistem terhadap penerimaan penggunaan teknologi :: Sebuah replikasi model di bidang E-Job Vacancies

2004 | Tesis | S2 ManajemenPenelitian ini merupakan replikasi model yang dikembangkan oleh Hong et al. (2002) di bidang e-job vacancies. Model tersebut menguji pengaruh variabel perceived ease-of-use terhadap variabel perceived usefulness, pengaruh variabel beliefs (terdiri dari perceived ease-of-use dan perceived usefulness) terhadap variabel behavior intention to use, dan pengaruh variabel individual differences (terdiri atas computer self-efficacy, dan knowledge of search domain) dan system characteristics (terdiri atas relevance, terminology, dan screen design) terhadap variabel beliefs. Model yang digunakan untuk menjawab tujuan penelitian tersebut adalah the Technology Acceptance Model (TAM). Data yang digunakan sebanyak 163 dari jawaban kuesioner mahasiswa S1 tingkat akhir di Fakultas Ekonomi dan Teknik Informatika untuk menguji minat mereka dalam penggunaan e-job vacancies. Dengan menggunakan alat analisis Structural Equation Model (SEM), hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa model yang diuji memenuhi kriteria goodness of fit. Selain itu, terdapat hubungan yang signifikan antara variabel perceived ease-of-use dan perceived usefulness terhadap behavior intention to use, variabel computer self-efficacy dan perceived ease-of-use, variabel relevance dan terminology terhadap perceived usefulness. Temuan lain yang menarik adalah, bahwa terdapatnya hubungan yang lemah antara variabel perceived ease-of-use dan perceived usefulness karena banyak temuan yang memberikan hasil sebaliknya. Selain itu, terdapat hubungan yang lemah antara variabel knowledge of search domain dan relevance terhadap perceived ease-of-use, variabel terminology dan perceived usefulness, variabel screen design terhadap perceived ease-of-use dan perceived usefulness.
This study replicates Hong et al.’s (2002) model in e-job vacancy area. This model tests about the correlation between percieved ease-of-use variable and percieved usefulness varieble, beliefs (percieved ease-of-use and percieved usefulness) against behaviour intention to use, and individual differences (computer self efficacy and knowledge of search domain) and system characteristics (relevance, terminology, and screen design) against belief variables. The model used to answer the research questions of the study is the Technology Acceptance Model (TAM). 163 respondents used base on the questioners spread among under-graduate students at their final level of study at the faculty of economics and informatics engineering in order to test their intention on the usage of e-job vacancies. Structural Equation Model (SEM) analysis results show that the model fulfills goodness of fit criteria. There are significant correlations among the perceived ease-ofuse variable and perceived usefulness againts behaviour intention to use, computer selfefficacy and perceived ease-of-use variable, relevance and terminology variable against perceived usefulness. Surprisingly, there are no significant correlations between perceived ease-of-use and perceived usefulness variable. There are weak corelations between knowledge of search domain and relevance variable against perceived ease-of use variable, terminology against perceived usefulness, and screen design variable against perceived ease-of–use and perceived usefulness.
