PENGARUH PENAMBAHAN TEPUNG KACANG SACHA (Plukenetia volubillis L.) PADA PAKAN TERHADAP PERSENTASE ORGAN GIBLET AYAM TIPE PEDAGING

Permintaan ayam broiler dan kebutuhan masyarakat akan protein hewani semakin meningkat. Pakan yang diberikan pada ayam broiler harus mengandung nutrisi yang cukup. Pakan alternatif biasanya digunakan untuk meningkatkan produktivitas. Penambahan tepung kacang sacha sebagai pakan alternatif dan untuk mengetahui pengaruhnya terhadap persentase organ giblet ayam tipe pedaging. Penelitian ini dilakukan selama 35 hari di kandang Close Housed (CH), Fakultas Peternakan, Universitas Gadjah Mada. Seratus ekor DOC (Day Old Chick) dibagi secara acak ke dalam empat kelompok perlakuan dan diulang sebanyak lima kali. DOC diberi pakan dengan level tepung kacang sacha yang berbeda, yaitu 0,5%, 1%, dan 2%. Pakan dan minum diberikan secara ad libitum. Persentase organ giblet ayam tipe pedaging yang terdiri dari persentase jantung, hati, dan gizzard pada umur 35 hari. Data yang dianalisis dalam penelitian ini menggunakan ANOVA dengan Rancangan Acak Lengkap Pola Searah. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan tidak ada peningkatan terhadap persentase jantung, hati, dan gizzard (P>0,05). Berdasarkan hasil penelitian, dapat disimpulkan bahwa penambahan tepung kacang sacha pada pakan dengan level yang berbeda berpengaruh tidak nyata terhadap persentase organ giblet ayam tipe pedaging.

The demand for broiler chickens and people's need for animal protein was increasing. The feed given to broiler chickens had to contain sufficient nutrients. Alternative feed was usually used to increase productivity. Adding sacha peanut flour was helpful as an alternative feed and in determining its effect on the percentage of broiler giblet organs. This study was conducted for 35 days in a closed house at the Faculty of Animal Science, Gadjah Mada University. One hundred DOCs (Day Old Chick) were randomly divided into four treatment groups and repeated five times. DOCs were fed with different levels of sacha peanut flour, namely 0.5%, 1%, and 2%. The feed and drink were given ad libitum. The percentage of giblets, consisting of the percentage of the heart, liver, and gizzard, was determined at 35 days. The data analyzed in this study used ANOVA with a Complete Randomized Design Pattern. The results showed no significant effect on the percentage of heart, liver, and gizzard (P>0.05). Based on the study's results, adding sacha peanut flour to feed at different percentages could not increase the percentage of giblet organs.
