Persepsi masyarakat desa Merdikorejo terhadap pengembangan desa wisata Trumpon di kecamatan Tempel kabupaten Sleman

Desa Wisata Trumpon dikenal memiliki potensi wisata agro salak pondoh. Namun demikian, wisatawan yang berkunjung ke desa wisata tersebut masih relatif terbatas. Oleh karena itu, persepsi masyarakat terhadap pengembangan desa wisata tersebut sangat diperlukan untuk mengetahui pemahaman dan harapan masyarakat. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk (1) mengetahui perencanaan dan pengelolaan yang terkait dengan pengembangan Desa Wisata Trumpon; (2) mengkaji pengetahuan dan persepsi masyarakat di Desa Merdikorejo terhadap pengembangan Desa Wisata Trumpon; serta (3) mengetahui hubungan antara persepsi masyarakat Desa Merdikorejo terhadap pengembangan Desa Wisata Trumpon dengan tingkat partisipasi masyarakat. Penelitian ini merupakan penelitian survei, dengan kepala keluarga (KK) sebagai responden, yang ditentukan secara stratified-random sampling. Penelitian ini menggtmakan metode deskriptif kualitatif untuk mengetahui perencanaan dan pengelolaan Desa Wisata Trumpon. Metode skoring digunakan untuk mengukur pengetahuan dan persepsi masyarakat Desa Merdikorejo terhadap pengembangan Desa Wisata Trumpon. Analisis Chi-Square digunakan untuk mengetahui perbedaan persepsi masyarakat berdasarkan tingkat partisipasi dan dusun sampel, sedangkan untuk mengetahui faktor yang berhubungan dengan persepsi dianalisis dengan Korelasi Spearman. Dinas Pariwisata Sleman telah menyusun Rencana Induk Pengembangan Obyek Wisata (RIPOW) Desa Wisata Trumpon. Program pengelolaan Desa Wisata Trumpon terdiri atas; pengembangan paket wisata, pengembangan produk pertanian salak pondoh, serta peningkatan kegiatan promosi. Dusun Trumpon memiliki tingkat pengetahuan tentang pengembangan Desa Wisata Trumpon yang paling tinggi, sedangkan Dusun Sono Kulon memiliki tingkat pengetahuan paling rendah. Hal ini disebabkan tingkat partisipasi masyarakat Trumpon dalam pengembangan desa wisata lebih tinggi daripada Sono Kulon. Masyarakat Desa Merdikorejo cenderung berpersepsi baik terhadap pengembangan Desa Wisata Trumpon. Namun demikian, tidak terdapat perbedaan persepsi masyarakat antara masyarakat yang terlibat dengan yang tidak terlibat dalam pengembangan desa wisata, begitu juga antar dusun sampel. Terdapat hubungan yang positif antara persepsi masyarakat dengan tingkat partisipasi masyarakat. Hal ini diartikan bahwa semakin tinggi tingkat partisipasi masyarakat maka persepsi masyarakat cenderung makin baik terhadap pengembangan Desa Wisata Trumpon.

Trumpon Village Tourism has agrotourism potency of salak pondoh. However, the tourist of the village tourism is still limited Therefore, the society perception towards the village tourism development is very needed to know the understanding and wish of all people. The aim of the research is (1) to know the planning and management related to the development of Trumpon Village Tourism; (2) to know the knowledge and society perception towards the development of Trumpon Village Tourism; (3) to know the correlation between the society perception towards the development of Trumpon Village Tourism and the level of society participation. The research is done by survey research method, with family head as a respondent, which is fixed by stratified-random sampling. This research uses qualitative descriptive method to know the planning and management of Trumpon Village Tourism. The scoring method is used to measure the knowledge and society perception towards the development of Trumpon Village Tourism. Chi¬Square analysis is used to know if there is a difference of society perception based on the participation and sample countryside, and to know the factors that correlate with the perception analysed by Spearman's Correlation. Sleman Tourism Office had composed Master Plan of Tourist Object Development (RIPOW) Trumpon Village Tourism. Management Program of Trumpon Village Tourism consists of tourist package development, development of salak pondoh agricultural product, and promotion improvement. The society of Trumpon Countryside has the highest knowledge level of the development of Trumpon Village Tourism, and the society of Sono Kulon Countryside has the lowest. It is affected by the society participation level of Trumpon Countryside in the village tourism development which is higher than Sono Kulon Countryside. The society perception of Merdikorejo Village is commonly good towards the development of Trumpon Village Tourism. However, there is no difference of the society perception, neither based on the society participation level nor the sample countrysides. There is a significant and positive correlation between the society perception and the society participation level. It means that the higher level of society participation, so the better of society perception towards the development of Trumpon Village Tourism.
