Seputar Konstruksi Kode Linier Fuzzy

Pada himpunan fuzzy, setiap elemen dari semesta pembicaraan dapat diberikan nilai fungsi keanggotaan. Nilai fungsi keanggotaan ini menunjukkan derajat keanggotaan dari elemen tersebut dalam semesta pembicaraan. Konsep himpunan fuzzy memperumum konsep himpunan biasa dari segi nilai fungsi keanggotaan. Pada himpunan biasa, nilai fungsi keanggotaan hanya dapat bernilai 0 atau 1, sedangkan pada himpunan fuzzy, nilai fungsi keanggotaan dapat bernilai bilangan real pada interval [0,1]. Pada skripsi ini, dikaitkan teori pengkodean dengan himpunan fuzzy. Pada himpunan fuzzy, diperkenalkan istilah subruang linier fuzzy yang analog dengan subruang. Konsep subruang linier fuzzy ini akan mengantarkan pada definisi kode linier fuzzy. Pembahasan ditekankan pada sifat-sifat dan aritmetika dari kode linier fuzzy. Pada skripsi ini, juga dibahas salah satu jenis kode linier fuzzy, yaitu kode siklik fuzzy yang analog dengan kode siklik pada pengkodean klasik. Selain itu, diselidiki juga sifat-sifat dan aritmetika dari kode siklik fuzzy. Pendekodean kode linier fuzzy juga dibahas dalam skripsi ini.

In a fuzzy set, each element of the universe of discourse can be assigned a membership function value which shows the degree of membership of the element in the universe of discourse. The concept of fuzzy sets generalizes the concept of regular sets in terms of membership function values. In ordinary sets, the membership function value can only be 0 or 1, whereas in fuzzy sets, the membership function value can be a real number in the interval [0,1]. In this undergraduate thesis, coding theory is linked to fuzzy sets. In fuzzy sets, the term fuzzy linear subspace is introduced which is analogous to subspace. This concept of fuzzy linear subspace will lead to the definition of fuzzy linear code. The discussion emphasizes the properties and arithmetic of fuzzy linear codes. In this undergraduate thesis, one type of fuzzy linear code is also discussed, namely fuzzy cyclic code which is analogous to the cyclic code in classical coding. In addition, the properties and arithmetic of the fuzzy cyclic code are also investigated. Decoding of fuzzy linear codes is also discussed in this undergraduate thesis.
