Dampak Perang Saudara Aljazair terhadap Masyarakat Aljazair dalam Novel Bab az-Zuwar Karya Muhammad Isma'il: Analisis Sosiologi Sastra

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengungkap dampak perang saudara Aljazair terhadap masyarakat Aljazair dalam novel Bab az-Zuwar karya Muhammad Isma'il. Dampak perang yang diceritakan dalam novel terjadi karena konflik antara pemerintah Aljazair dengan berbagai kelompok oposisi Islam bersenjata. Teori yang digunakan adalah teori sosiologi sastra yang menganggap karya sastra sebagai cerminan zaman. Adapun metode yang digunakan adalah metode deskriptif analisis. Metode ini digunakan untuk menganalisis dampak perang saudara Aljazair dalam novel, lalu menghubungkannya dengan fakta sosial yang terjadi di masyarakat Aljazair saat perang saudara.

Hasil penelitian ini menunjukkan tiga dampak perang saudara Aljazair terhadap masyarakat Aljazair dalam novel Bab az-Zuwar. Tiga dampak perang tersebut adalah dampak sosial, dampak ekonomi, dan dampak psikologis terhadap masyarakat Aljazair. Dampak sosialnya yaitu jatuhnya korban jiwa melalui pembantaian di desa-desa dan berbagai pembunuhan serta migrasi warga Aljazair. Dampak ekonomi yaitu berkurangnya pendapatan warga Aljazair dan kurangnya pasokan pangan. Dampak terakhir yaitu dampak psikologis berupa rasa takut warga Aljazair akan teror. Pada dasarnya, perang menimbulkan dampak negatif bagi rakyat kecil. Mereka menjadi pihak yang paling dirugikan karena perang dapat mempengaruhi berbagai aspek kehidupan masyarakat.

This study aims to reveal the impact of the Algerian civil war on Algerian society in the novel Bab az-Zuwar by Muhammad Ismail. The impact of the war described in the novel occurred because of  the conflict between the Algerian government and various armed Islamic opposition groups. The theory used is the sociology of literature theory which considers literary works as a reflection of the times. The method used is a descriptive analysis. This method is used to analyze the impact of the Algerian civil war in the novel, then connect it to the social facts that occurred in Algerian society during the civil war.

The results indicate three impacts of the Algerian civil war on Algerian society in the novel Bab az-Zuwar. The three impacts of the war are the social impact, the economic impact, and the psychological impact on Algerian society . The social impact is the loss of life through massacres in villages and various murders as well as the migration of Algerian citizens. The economic impact is a reduction in the income of Algerian citizens and a lack of food supplies. The final impact is the psychological impact in the form of Algerian citizens' fear of terror. Basically, the war had a negative impact on small people. They are the ones who suffer the  most because war can affect various aspects of people's lives.
