The coastal area of Ende City is an area that has high dynamic conditions, susceptible to abrasion, tidal waves and tsunamis with various typologies. The coastal area of Ende City is a dense residential area and infrastructure. Ende city is an urban area, government center, economic and trade center, with plans to develop coastal natural tourism. Management of coastal areas in the context of a comprehensive approach by combining the study of physical development processes of landforms (geomorphological) and the biotic environment (ecological). The research purposes is to identify and analyze the typology and dynamics in the coastal area of Ende City, analyze multi-disaster hazards based on the level of susceptibility to tsunami disasters and the level of susceptibility to abrasion, analyze the level of resilience of the ecological system in the coastal area of Ende City, develop a coastal area management strategy in the coastal area of Ende City based on a multi-disaster susceptibility and ecological system approach. This research uses a mixed method of qualitative and quantitative. Quantitative analysis methods are used to analyze data presented in the form of systematic numbers using a scoring system. Assessment of the level of susceptibility to tsunami and abrasion disasters is carried out through analytical hierarchy process (AHP) and spatial multi-criteria evaluation (SMCE). Analysis to produce an ecological system resilience index value is carried out through scoring. Qualitative methods are used to analyze coastal typology, coastal dynamics, adaptive cycles, coastal ecological systems, determining tsunami and abrasion susceptibility parameters. Data collection techniques from qualitative methods are carried out by comparing field survey results with scientific literature, indepth interviews, focus group discussions. The research results show that the marine deposition coast, anthropogenic coast, sub areal deposition coast typology areas are very susceptibility to tsunami, the wave erosion coast and volcanic coast typologies are areas that are susceptibility to tsunami. The coastal typology of marine deposition coast, anthropogenic coast, and sub aereal deposition coast is very susceptibility to abrasion, the wave erosion coast typology is susceptibility to abrasion and the volcanic coast typology is safe from abrasion. Resilience of the ecological system from the marine deposition coast, anthropogenic coast, sub aereal deposition coast and wave erosion coast typology is in the resilience category, while the resilience of the ecological system in the volcanic coast typology is in the low resilience category. Management of coastal areas based on disaster mitigation, ecological systems and geotourism in the coastal areas of Ende City to prevent risks of disasters that cause losses to the community and maintain the sustainability of natural resources so that they remain available and sustainable.
