KOMPOSISI JENIS BURUNG DI KAWASAN REHABILITASI HUTAN MANGROVE P ANTAI UTARA KABUPATEN REMBANG

2008 | Skripsi | S1 KEHUTANANPenelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui komposisi jenis bu.rung, komposisi vegetasi mangrove, serta membandingkan komposisi burung dengan komunitas mangrove pada tahun tanam 1975, 1982, dan 1988 di Kawasan Rehabilitasi Mangrove Pantai Utara, Kabupaten Rembang, Jawa Tengah. Hasil yang diperoleh diharapkan dapat memberikan manfaat bagi keperluan ilrniah rnaupun upaya pengelolaan terhadap hutan mangrove sebagai habitat jenis-jenis burung. Pengambilan data jenis-jenis burung diperoleh dengan menggunakan metode Point Counts dengan 2 band (pita). Jarak antar titik pengamatan 200 m dengan radius pengarnatan jarak band pertama 30 meter dan band kedua berjarak lebih dari 30 meter. Data vegetasi diperoleh dengan Metode Quadrat Sampling dengan PU ukuran 5 x 5 m2 , ditempatkan pada setiap titik pengamatan burung. Komposisi mangrove dianalisis dengan menghitung kerapatan jenis. Keanekaragaman jenis bu.rung dianalisis dengan rnenghitung Indeks keanekaragaman Shannon, kerapatan jenis burung dengan rumus Bibby and Burgess, dan perbedaan komunitas burung dengan rumus Sorensen. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan di kawasan rehabilitasi hutan mangrove pada tahun tanam 1975, 1982, dan 1988 ditemukan sebanyak 24 jenis burung dari 15 farnili. Kerapatan rata-rata jenis burung pada kawasan tahun tanam 1975, 1982, dan 1988 yaitu 2113,07; 4855,5; dan 1928,05 individu/ha. Indeks keanekaragaman Shannon-Magurran jenis burung pada ketiga tahun tanam berturut-turut 2,441; 2,041; dan 2,394. Indeks kesamaan komunitas pada tahun tanam 1982 dengan 1988 yaitu 87,9%, tahun tanam 1975 dengan 1982 yaitu 85,3%, dan tahun tanam 1975 dengan 1988 yaitu 86,3%. Terdapat empat jenis mangrove yaitu Rhizophora stylosa, Rhizophora muchronata, Avicennia marina, dan Sonneratia alba. Pada ketiga tahun tanam masing-masing kerapatannya adalah 2400 individual/ha, 3350 individual/ha, and 2085, 7 individual/ha.
The research had an aim to know the composition of birds, composition of mangrove vegetation, also to compare the composition of birds in the mangrove community in the planting seasons of 1975, 1982, and 1988 in the rehabilitation mangrove area in the North beach, Rembang regency, Central Java. The result was taken which could give benefits for the science subjects or for management efforts toward the mangrove forest as the habitat of the species of birds. Submitting the data of species of birds was taken by using Point Counts Method with 2 bands (ribbons). The distance between monitoring posts were 200 m with the monitoring radius of first band was about 30 m and the second band was more than 30 m. The vegetation data taken by Quadrate Sampling Method with PU size was about 5x5 m2 , replaced at the direct point of birds observation. Mangrove composition is analyzed by density of mangrove. The variety of birds are analyzed by counting the Variety Shannon Index. Moreover, the density of birds are analyzed by Bibby and Burgess Formula, and the difference of birds community was counted by Sorensen formula. The result of the research shows in the rehabilitation area of mangrove forest in the planting seasons of 1975, 1982, and 1988 found about 24 species of birds from 15 families. The density of the equity of birds found in 1975, 1982, and 1988 were 2113,07; 4855,5; and 1928,05 individual/ha. The variety index of Shannon-Magurran species of birds in the area of planting seasons in 1975, 1982, and 1988 were 2,441; 2,041; and 2,394. The collective of the communities in 1982 and 1988 were about 87,9%, in the planting seasons of I 975 and 1982 were 85,3%, and in the planting seasons of 1975 with 1988 were 86,3%. There were about four kinds of mangrove, Rhizophora stylosa Griff, Rhizophora muchronata Lamk, Avicennia Marina (Forsk) Vierh, and Sonneratia Alba Sm. The density of mangrove in 1975, 1982, and 1988 planting seasons were 2400 individual/ha, 3350 individual/ha, and 2085,7 individual/ha.
