PERAWATAN DAN PENAMPILAN REPRODUKSI INDUK SAPI PERANAKAN ONGOLE, SIMPO DAN LIMPO DI KELOMPOK TRIJAYA II KECAMATAN PENGASIH, KABUPATEN KULON PROGO DAERAH ISTIMEWA YOGYAKARTA Hayat Aladin 05/186673/PT/04986 INTISARI Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui perawatan dan penampilan reproduksi induk sapi Peranakan Ongole (PO), Simmental Peranakan Ongole (SIMPO), dan Limousin Peranakan Ongole (LIMPO) di Kelompok Trijaya II Kecamatan Pengasih, Kabupaten Kulon Progo, Yogyakarta. Penelitian dilaksanakan pada bulan November 2011 sampai Februari 2012. Data profil peternak diperoleh dengan wawancara terhadap 40 peternak, dilanjutkan pengamatan terhadap perawatan dan produktivitas 12 induk sapi PO, 27 sapi LIMPO, dan 24 sapi SIMPO. Data dianalisis menggunakan One way Anova. Hasil yang diperoleh menunjukkan bahwa, dengan perawatan yang relatif sama tidak terdapat perbedaan produktivitas induk sapi PO, LIMPO, dan SIMPO yang meliputi: umur sapih (4,25±0,22 vs 4,08±0,15 vs 3,81±0,18 bulan), post partum estrus (3,37±0,47 vs 3,08±0,24 vs 3,41±0,20 bulan), post partum mating (4,67±0,22 vs 4,04±0,20 vs 4,26±0,22 bulan), siklus estrus (22,42±0,66 vs 22,92±0,55 vs 21,67±0,53 hari), dan Interval kelahiran (16,42±0,63 vs 15,12±0,23 vs 15,41±0,20 bulan), kecuali service per conception (2,75±0,32 vs 2,15±0,13 vs 2,08±0,12), Berdasarkan hasil penelitian disimpulkan bahwa tidak terdapat perbedaan perawatan dan penampilan reproduksi induk sapi PO, LIMPO, dan SIMPO. MANAGEMENT AND REPRODUCTIVE PERFOMANCE OF ONGOLE GRADE, SIMMENTAL ONGOLE CROSSBRED, AND LIMOUSIN ONGOLE CROSSBRED COWS IN THE TRIJAYA II IN SUB DISTRICT PENGASIH, DISTRICT KULON PROGO, YOGYAKARTA. Hayat Aladin 05/186673/PT/04986 ABSTRACT The research was conducted to investigate the management and reproductive performance of Ongole Grade, Simmental Ongole Crossbred, and Limousin Ongole Crossbred cows in sub district Pengasih, district Kulon Progo, Yogyakarta. The research was implemented in August until November 2011. Profile of 40 farmers got by interview, continued by observing the management and productivity of 12 Ongole Grade cows, 27 Limousin Ongole Crossbred cows, and 24 Simmental Ongole Crossbred cows. The data were analyzed using one way ANOVA. The result with the same relative maintenance showed that no differents productivity between Ongole Grade, Limousin Ongole Crossbred, and Simmental Ongole Crossbred cows on weaning age (4.25±0.22 vs 3.81±0.18 vs 4.08±0.15 month); post partum estrus (3.37±0.47 vs 3.41±0.20 vs 3.08±0.24 month); post partum mating (4.67±0.22 vs 4.26±0.22 vs 4.04±0.20 month); calving interval (16.42±0.63 vs 15.41±0.20 vs 15.12±0.23 month); and estrus cycles (22.42±0.66 vs 22.92±0.55 vs 21.67±0.53 days), except service per conception (2.75±0.32 vs 2.15±0.13 vs 2.08±0.12). It could be concluded that no differents between management and productivity of Ongole Grade, Limousin Ongole Crossbred, and Simmental Ongole Crossbred.
