Pengaruh penggunaan tepung daun singkong dan metionin dalam pakan terhadap performan dan kandungan vitamin A kulit kaki ayam broiler

2004 | Tesis | S2 Ilmu PeternakanPenelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui pengaruh penggunaan tepung daun singkong segar dan rebus yang dikeringkan matahari serta penambahan metionin terhadap performan, kandungan vitamin A serta persentase lemak abdominal. Ternak yang digunakan sebanyak 162 ekor betina dengan lama pengamatan 33 hari dan adaptasi 7 hari. Perlakuan yang digunakan dalam penelitian terdiri atas 9 macam yaitu K: Kontrol, P1: tepung daun singkong kering matahari 7,5%, P2: tepung daun singkong kering matahari 7,5% + 0,1% metionin, P3: tepung daun singkong kering matahari 15%, P4: tepung daun singkong kering matahari 15% + 0,1% metionin, P5: tepung daun singkong rebus kering matahari 7,5%, P6: tepung daun singkong rebus kering matahari 7,5% + 0,1% metionin, P7: tepung daun singkong rebus kering matahari 15%, P8: tepung daun singkong rebus kering matahari 15% + 0,1% metionin. Rancangan yang digunakan Rancangan Acak Lengkap pola searah dengan 3 ulangan, setiap unit terdiri dari 6 ekor sehingga terdapat 27 unit. Untuk melihat perbedaan antar perlakuan digunakan Uji Kontras Ortogonal. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa perlakuan memberikan pengaruh terhadap konsumsi pakan, pertambahan berat badan, konversi pakan, lemak abdominal, persentase karkas dan vitamin A kulit kaki. Kesimpulan yang dapat diambil adalah perlakuan pemberian tepung daun singkong segar maupun rebus kering matahari pemberian 7,5% memberikan konsumsi, pertambahan berat badan, persentase karkas dan persentase lemak abdominal lebih baik dibanding perlakuan pemberian 15%. Penambahan metionin meningkatkan pertambahan berat badan dan menurunkan konversi pakan.
The study was conducted to investigate the effect of suns dried and steaming cassava leaf meal and methionine supplementation into died on performance, vitamine A in the shanck and percentage of abdominal fat pad of broiler chicken. One hundred and sixty two female DOC (Day Old Chicks) were devided into 9 treatment in 3 eplication with 6 chicks each, namely K (controle), P1 sun dried cassava leaf meal (SDCL) 7,5%, P2 (7,5% + 0,1% methionine), P3 (15% SDCL), P4 (15% SDCL + 0,1% methionine), P5 (7,5 % steaming cassava leaf meal = SCL), P6 (7,5% SCL + 0,1% methionine), P7 (15% SCL), P8 (15% SCL + 0,1% methionine). The trial were divide 7 days first fed commercial feed than continued treatment diets. The data were analyzed by using a one way classification of varian analysis (CRD) and continued by. To see the significant an Orthogonal Contrast Test. The results indicated that the treatments had significantly differences (P < 0,05) on feed consumption, weight-gain feed conversion, abdominal fat, and vitamine A in the shank. It can be concluded that the effect of suns dried and steaming cassava leaf meal until 7,5% resulted better performance and carcass quality than 15%. Supplementation of methionine indicated on increasing weight-gain and decreased feed conversion ratio.
