PENGARUH PENCAMPURAN HIDROGEL KOLAGEN KITOSAN DENGAN INJECTABLE PLATELET-RICH FIBRIN TERHADAP RENTANG PITA SERAPAN GUGUS FUNGSI

The current development of periodontal treatment is carried out using a guided tissue/bone regeneration (GTR/GBR) strategy involving the use of scaffolds. One biomaterial that has potential as a scaffold is collagen chitosan hydrogel. A scaffold in the form of chitosan collagen hydrogel is needed to imitate extracellular matrix components, so it is necessary to add growth factors that play a role in tissue regeneration, one of which is by adding platelet concentrate in the form of Injectable Platelet-Rich Fibrin (I-PRF) using the mixing method. The aim of this study was to analyze the effect of mixing chitosan collagen hydrogel with I-PRF on the range of functional group absorption bands.
In this study, chitosan collagen hydrogel was used which was mixed with I-PRF 1:1 for the FTIR test. The FTIR test is a test used to determine the type of bond that occurs when mixing materials. The FTIR test data was analyzed by comparing the FTIR absorption bands of the collagen chitosan hydrogel, I-PRF, and the mixture of chitosan collagen hydrogel with I-PRF.
The FTIR test results show all the functional groups formed in mixing chitosan collagen hydrogel with I-PRF is the functional group of the constituent ingredients. The bonds formed are physical bonds, not chemical bonds because there are no new functional groups formed after mixing the chitosan collagen hydrogel with I-PRF. This study concluded that the mixture of chitosan collagen hydrogel with I-PRF has an impact on maintaining the absorption bands of functional groups.
