Keanekaragaman Jenis Lichen di Jalur Pendakian Wekas, Resort Pakis, Taman Nasional Gunung Merbabu, Jawa Tengah

Lichen merupakan organisme simbiosis algae dan fungi. Algae berperan menjadi penyedia photobiont untuk fotosintesis dan fungi menyediakan mycobiont atau nutrisi mineral dan air dari ligkungan, reproduksi mineral dan air dari luar, dan berperan dalam perlindungan algae dari kondisi kekeringan. Proses simbiosis keduanya menimbulkan respons lingkungan yang adaptif, karena strukur fisiologis, thallus dan senyawa kimia spesifik. Penelitian ini dilakukan dengan tujuan mempelajari keanekaragaman jenis di Jalur Pendakian Wekas, Resort Pakis, Taman Nasional Gunung Merbabu (TNGMb) yang tergolong memiliki banyak keanekaragaman fauna dan flora karena masuk kepada hutan lindung. Metode digunakan adalah metode purposive sampling dengan 10 lokasi dam dilakukan pada Mei-November 2023, Identifikasi karakter lichen meliputi, anatomi, morfologi, dan kimiawi, sebagai penentuan data kualitatif, dan perhitungan indeks ShannonWeiner sebagai data kuantitatif. Pengamatan juga meliputi kondisi fisiokimia lokasi sampling berupa kelembaban udara, pH, kelembaban tanah, cahaya, suhu udara, tekanan udara, cuarah hujan, dan ketinggian tempat. Hasil yang didapat pada penelitian kali ini diperoleh 32 jenis spesies yaitu Candelariella reflexa, Hypotrachyna revoluta, Usnea ammannii, Hypotrachyna adaffinis, Pleurosticta koflerae, Punctelia reddenda, Parmotrema xanthinum, Parmotrema abessinicum, Lepraria lobificans, Lepraria incana, Lepraria achariana, Lecidella elaeochroma, Lecanora chlarotera, Lecanora expallens, Lecanora conizaeoides, Cladonia ramulosa, Bryoria bicolor, Ramalina ahtii, Arthonia atra, Cryptothecia striata, Phaeophyscia adiastola, Physcia leptalea, Circinaria calcarea, Ochrolechia subviridis, Pertusaria hymenea, Pyrenula dermatodes, Graphina abaphoides, Thelotrema lepadinum, Graphis cincta, Phlyctis argena, Phaeophyscia orbicularis, Leptogium burnetiae. Indeks yang diperoleh dengan perhitungan Shannon-Weiner pada penelitian Keanekaragaman Jenis di Jalur Pendakian Wekas, Resort Pakis, Taman Nasional Gunung Merbabu berkisar 3,02 yang termasuk tinggi.

Lichens are symbiotic organisms of algae and fungi. Algae provide photobionts for photosynthesis, while fungi provide mycobionts or mineral nutrients and water from the environment, reproduce minerals and water from outside, and play a role in protecting the algae from drought. The symbiotic process between the two causes an adaptive environmental response due to the physiological structure, the thallus and specific chemical compounds. The objective of this research is to study the biodiversity of the Wekas Hiking Trail, Pakis Resort, Mount Merbabu National Park (TNGMb). The TNGMb, as part of the protected forest, is classified as having a high diversity of fauna and flora. The method used is purposive sampling method with ten locations and conducted in May-November 2023. The characters for lichen identification include anatomy, morphology and chemistry. The Shannon-Weiner index and the physiochemical conditions of the sampling site (humidity, pH, soil moisture, light, air temperature, air pressure, rainfall and altitude) were also observed. The results obtained in this study include 32 species, namely Candelariella reflexa, Hypotrachyna revoluta, Usnea ammannii, Hypotrachyna adaffinis, Pleurosticta koflerae, Punctelia reddenda, Parmotrema xanthinum, Parmotrema abessinicum, Lepraria lobificans, Lepraria incana, Lepraria achariana, Lecidella elaeochroma, Lecanora chlarotera, Lecanora expallens, Lecanora conizaeoides, Cladonia ramulosa, Bryoria bicolor, Ramalina ahtii, Arthonia atra, Cryptothecia striata, Phaeophyscia adiastola, Physcia leptalea, Circinaria calcarea, Ochrolechia subviridis, Pertusaria hymenea, Pyrenula dermatodes, Graphina abaphoides, Thelotrema lepadinum, Graphis cincta, Phlyctis argena, Phaeophyscia orbicularis, Leptogium burnetiae. The Shannon-Weiner index obtained in the study of species diversity on the Wekas Hiking Tracks, Pakis Resort, Mount Merbabu National Park is about 3.02, which is high.
