Pengaruh Umur Induk dan Lama Simpan Telur terhadap Daya Tetas Ayam Kampung Unggul Balitbangtan (KUB)

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui daya tetas telur berdasarkan umur induk dan lama simpan telur yang berbeda. Sebanyak 600 butir telur tetas ayam Kampung Unggul Balitbangtan (KUB) yang dibagi ke dalam 20 kelompok perlakuan, terdiri atas 2 kelompok umur induk dan 10 kelompok lama simpan telur dengan tiga kali ulangan. Setiap kelompok perlakuan terdiri dari 10 butir telur tetas. Kelompok umur induk yaitu 20 minggu dan 50 minggu sedangkan kelompok lama simpan telur yaitu penyimpanan 1, 2, 3, 4, 5, 6, 7, 8, 9, 10 hari. Parameter yang diamati indeks telur (%), berat susut (%), fertilitas (%), daya tetas (%), dan bobot DOC (g). Data yang dikumpulkan dianalisis menggunakan analisis variansi Rancangan Acak Lengkap (RAL) pola faktorial dan dilanjutkan uji beda rerata dengan Duncan’s Range Multiple Test (DMRT) apabila perlakuan menunjukkan perbedaan. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa terdapat perbedaan yang nyata (p<0>0,05). Kesimpulan penelitian ini bahwa perlakuan penyimpanan telur tetas hari ke-1 sampai ke-7 memiliki daya tetas yang tidak berbeda dan mulai terjadi penurunan daya tetas ayam KUB pada hari ke-8.

This research was aimed to investigate the effect of hen age and storage duration on hatchability. This research used two hundred egg of the Kampung Unggul Balitbangtan (KUB) chicken were devided into twenty treatment group there are two treament of hen age and ten treatment group of storage duration with three replication. Each treatment group consisted of 10 eggs. The hen egg groups were 20 weeks and 50 weeks, while the egg storage duration groups included storage duration of 1, 2, 3, 4, 5, 6, 7, 8, 9, and 10 days. The observed parameters include egg index (%), weight loss (%), fertility (%), hatchability (%), and DOC weight (g). The collected data were analyzed using a Complete Randomized Design (CRD) factorial pattern analysis and further subjected to mean difference testing using Duncan's Range Multiple Test (DMRT) if the treatments showed significant differences. The research results indicate that there is a significant difference (p<0>0.05). In conclusion, the research indicates that the hatchability of KUB chickens remains consistent for egg storage durations from day 1 to day 7, with a decline in hatchability starting from day 8.
