Perlindungan Hukum Hak Cipta Bagi Konten Kreator Youtube Terhadap Tindakan Mengunggah Kembali Video Tanpa Izin

Penelitian dengan judul "Perlindungan Hukum Hak Cipta Bagi Konten Kreator Youtube Terhadap Tindakan Mengunggah Kembali Video Tanpa Izin" bertujuan untuk mengetahui dan menganalisis apakah Undang-Undang Nomor 28 Tahun 2014 tentang Hak Cipta memberikan perlindungan yang dibutuhkan oleh konten kreator dan bagaimana tindakan Youtube dalam menghadapi permasalahan hak cipta pada Platform Youtube. Penelitian ini merupakan penelitian normatif empiris, yaitu dengan mengkaji data sekunder dan data primer. Data sekunder dilakukan inventarisasi melalui studi pustaka untuk nantinya menjabarkan pengaturan mengenai hak cipta serta perlindungan yang diberikan bagi konten kreator terhadap permasalahan hak cipta pada youtube, sedangkan data primer didapatkan dari hasil wawancara dengan responden yaitu beberapa konten kreator Youtube. Data yang telah didapatkan tersebut selanjutnya dilakukan analisis dan diolah sehingga dapat mengambarkan permasalahan serta memberikan solusi terhadap permasalahan hukum tersebut. Hasil penelitian ialah : Pertama, perlindungan yang diberikan oleh hukum tidak dijadikan perlindungan utama bagi konten kreator apabila terjadi permasalahan hak cipta, hal ini dikarenkan rumit serta membutuhkan waktu dan tenaga yang lebih dalam menyelesaikannya. Konten kreator memilih menyelesaikan permasalahan ini melalui proses penyelesaian yang diberikan Youtube yang dinilai efektif dan efisien. Kedua, Youtube mengeluarkan kebijakan sebagai langkah awal dalam menghadapi permasalahan ini. Youtube juga memanfaatkan teknologi dan menciptakan fitur atau alat pengelolaan hak sebagai tindakan dalam menghadapi pelanggaran hak cipta.

The reseacrh entitled "Copyright Legal Protection for Youtube Conten Creators Againts the Act of Re-uploading Videos Without Permission" aims to find out and analyze wheter Law Number 28 of 2014 concerning Copyright provides the protection needed by conten creators and how Youtube acts in dealing with copyright issues on the Youtube Platform. This research was an empirical normative research, conducted by collecting secondary data and primary data. Secondary data is inventoried through literature study to later discribe the regulation of copyright and the protection provided for conten creators againts copyright issues on Youtube. while primary data obtained from interviews with respondens, namely some youtube conten creator. The data that has been obtained is then analyzed and processed so that it can describe the problems dan provide solutions to legal issues. The results of this research underline two conclusions, First, the proctection provided by law is not used as the main protection for conten creators in the event of copyright issues, this is beacuse it is complicated and requires more time and energy to resolve. Conten creators choose to solve this problem trhough the settlement process provided by Youtube which is considered effective and efficient. Second, Youtube issued a policy as a first step in dealing with this problem, Youtube also utilizes technology and creates features or right management tools as an action in dealing with copyright infringement.
