The continuity of electrical energy supply is crucial, and disruptions to the distribution network system can have a detrimental impact on various activities. Disturbance, as a condition that deviates from normal, is a major factor affecting electricity quality and distribution. Therefore, it is important to assess the reliability of the distribution network system, which is measured through the system reliability index. Analyzing the causes of disturbances in the distribution system is also necessary so that repairs can be carried out with the right target.This study was conducted to evaluate the performance of the distribution network system of D.I.Yogyakarta Province in 2022 and analyze the causes of disturbances in the system. Evaluation of the performance of the distribution network system can be done by analyzing the reliability index value of the system, which is then followed by an analysis of the cause of the disturbance using the fault tree analysis (FTA) method.The results showed that the performance of the D.I.Yogyakarta Province distribution network system in 2022 was somewhat more reliable when compared to the previous year. This is evidenced by the value of the system reliability index which has improved to meet the standards of PLN, namely the SAIDI value from 420,1000 (minutes/year) or 7,0017 (hours/year) to 176,0744 (minutes/year) or 2,9346 (hours/year) and the SAIFI value from 7,001 (times/year) to 2,613 (times/year). There are several causes of interference in the distribution network system, such as functional failure in components, decreased function in components due to age, components experiencing overload, heavy rain, animals, falling trees, and accidents caused by humans. Dalam era teknologi modern, meningkatnya kebutuhan akan energi listrik sejalan dengan pertumbuhan populasi menempatkan energi listrik sebagai kebutuhan primer dalam kehidupan sehari-hari. Kontinuitas pasokan energi listrik menjadi krusial, dan gangguan pada sistem jaringan distribusi dapat berdampak merugikan pada berbagai aktivitas. Gangguan, sebagai suatu kondisi yang menyimpang dari normal, menjadi faktor utama yang memengaruhi kualitas dan distribusi listrik. Oleh karena itu, penilaian keandalan sistem jaringan distribusi menjadi penting yang terukur melalui indeks keandalan sistem. Analisis penyebab terjadinya gangguan pada sistem distribusi juga diperlukan agar perbaikan dapat dilakukan dengan tepat sasaran.

Penelitian ini dilakukan untuk mengevaluasi kinerja sistem jaringan distribusi Provinsi D.I.Yogyakarta tahun 2022 dan menganalisis penyebab terjadinya gangguan pada sistem. Evaluasi kinerja sistem jaringan distribusi dapat dilakukan dengan menganalisis nilai indeks keandalan sistem tersebut, yang kemudian dilanjutkan dengan analisis penyebab terjadinya gangguan dengan menggunakan metode fault tree analysis (FTA).

Hasil penelitian menunjukan bahwa kinerja sistem jaringan distribusi Provinsi D.I.Yogyakarta tahun 2022 terbilang lebih andal jika dibandingkan dengan tahun sebelumnya. Hal ini dibuktikan dengan nilai indeks keandalan sistem yang membaik sudah memenuhi standar dari PLN, yaitu dengan nilai SAIDI dari 420.1000 (menit/tahun) atau 7.0017 (jam/tahun) menjadi 176,0744 (menit/tahun) atau 2,9346 (jam/tahun) dan nilai SAIFI dari 7,001 (kali/tahun) menjadi 2,613 (kali/tahun). Terdapat beberapa penyebab dari terjadinya gangguan pada sistem jaringan distribusi, seperti kegagalan fungsional pada komponen, penurunan fungsi pada komponen karena umur, komponen mengalami beban lebih, hujan lebat, hewan, pohon tumbang, dan kecelakaan yang disebabkan oleh manusia.
