Arduino dan Sensor Ultrasonik untuk Menyelidiki Gerak Harmonik Sederhana

In the field of physics, springs are often used as a tool for research and have become a mandatory component in several objects used in our daily lives. Springs have various functions, one of which is to store potential energy resulting from stretching or compression until a point of halt, known as harmonic motion. This stopping point is influenced by the damping value applied to the spring.
This research focuses on integrating data reading technology using sensors on Arduino with the standard procedure of collecting spring damping data, commonly conducted in basic physics experiments. Additionally, the use of computer applications is implemented in this study to simplify the process of data analysis.
The research results show data tables and oscillation graphs directly that can be used for further data analysis. In this research, the damping area variations in the spring affect the damping constant value, where the spring damping cooeficient value will increase as the damping area used increases.
