Karakteristik dan Aktivitas Pengunjung di Hutan Kota Klorofil, Kabupaten Kendal

Hutan Kota Klorofil merupakan salah satu ruang terbuka hijau (RTH) yang berada di Kabupaten Kendal dan letaknya cukup strategis di tengah kota dan beberapa fasilitas publik lainnya. Salah satu tujuan dari pembangunan RTH, khususnya hutan kota adalah menjadi kawasan rekreasi, serta sarana peningkatan kesehatan mental dan fisik. Kehadiran pengunjung di Hutan Kota Kendal menjadi aspek yang penting bagi ruang publik, dan memiliki peran sebagai penikmat
fasilitas yang ada. Pengunjung yang hadir umumnya memiliki karakteristik yang beragam yang mempengaruhi tujuan dan aktivitas yang dilakukan di Hutan Kota
Klorofil. Tujuan dari penelitian ini untuk mengetahui karakteristik pengunjung, aktivitas pengunjung, serta hubungan antara karakteristik dan aktivitas pengunjung
di Hutan Kota Klorofil. Variabel yang diambil dalam penelitian ini adalah karakteristik sosio-ekonomi, karakteristik penggunaan RTH, dan aktivitas
pengunjung di Hutan Kota Klorofil. Pengambilan data menggunakan teknik sampling selama jam operasional dengan bantuan kuesioner. Pengambilan data
dilakukan dengan dua tahap perandoman, yaitu hari kunjungan, dan waktu (jam) kunjungan. Data karakteristik dan aktivitas pengunjung selanjutnya disajikan
dengan bentuk pie chart dan dianalisis secara deskriptif, sementara data hubungan karakteristik dan aktivitas pengunjung diolah dengan menggunakan uji non
parametrik chi-square dengan Software SPSS. Berdasarkan hasil penelitian diketahui pengunjung di Hutan Kota Klorofil
didominasi dengan karakteristik berjenis kelamin wanita, berasal dari dalam kota, tingkat SMP/sederajat hingga SMA/sederajat, berusia remaja, memiliki pekerjaan
sebagai non PNS, penghasilan di bawah UMK Kabupaten Kendal, berkunjung bersama teman, berkunjung karena dekat dengan tempat tinggal, sumber informasi
dari teman, durasi < 2>hubungan signifikan dengan aktivitas pengunjung adalah pendapatan pengunjung. 

Klorofil Urban Forest is one of the green open spaces (RTH) in Kendal Regency and is strategically located in the middle of the city and several other
public facilities. One of the objectives of RTH development, especially the urban forest itself is to become a recreational area, as well as a means of improving mental
and physical health. The presence of visitors in Kendal Urban Forest is an important aspect of public space, and has a role as a connoisseur of existing facilities. Visitors who attend generally have diverse characteristics that affect the goals and activities carried out in the Klorofil Urban Forest. The purpose of this study is to  determine the characteristics of visitors, visitor activities, and the relationship between characteristics and visitor activities in the Klorofil Urban Forest. The variables taken in this study are the socioeconomic characteristics of visitors, characteristics of the use of green spaces, and visitor activities in the Klorofil Urban Forest. Data collection used sampling techniques during operating hours with the help of a questionnaire. Data collection was carried out in two stages, namely the day of visit, and the time (hour) of visit. Data on visitor characteristics and activities were then presented in the form of pie charts and analyzed descriptively, while data on the relationship between visitor characteristics and activities were processed using the non-parametric chi-square test with the help of SPSS software. Based on the results of the study, it can be seen that visitors in the Klorophyll Urban Forest are dominated by the characteristics of female gender, come from within the city, have a junior high school/equivalent to high school/equivalent education level, are teenagers, have a non-civil servant job, income below the minimum wage of Kendal Regency, visit with friends, visit because it is close to where they live, source of information from friends, duration under 2 hours, and mode of transportation of choice motorcycle. The dominant activities carried out by visitors are recreational activities. Characteristics that have a significant relationship with visitor activities is visitor's salary.
