Pembahasan
yakni Realisme Struktural Epistemik.
The
focus of this research revolves around the transition from Newton's theory of
gravity to Einstein's general theory of relativity. The objective of this study
is to elucidate this theoretical shift, given that both theories hold
significant standing within the field of physics. Subsequently, the transition
is analyzed utilizing the analytical framework of realism in the philosophy of
science, specifically Epistemic Structural Realism. The material object under
investigation is the shift from Newton's theory of gravity to Einstein's
general theory of relativity, while the formal object of this research aligns
with one perspective of realism in the philosophy of science, namely Epistemic
Structural Realism. This
research adopts a descriptive-analytical approach within the realm of
philosophical inquiry, systematically presenting and substantiating arguments
through an exhaustive examination of existing literature. The sources utilized
in this literature review include books and scientific journal articles
directly pertinent to both the formal and material objects of investigation.
The data analysis encompasses methodological elements such as interpretation,
coherence, heuristics, and description. The
outcomes of this research lead to
the conclusion that there exists a structural or content-related mathematical
continuity from Newton's Universal Law of Gravitation to Einstein's General
Theory of Relativity, as discerned through the lens of Epistemic Structural
Realism. This analytical framework effectively bridges the realms of Scientific
Realism and Anti-Realism. Under non-relativistic speed limits, it is
demonstrated that the equations of Newton's Universal Law of Gravitation can be
derived from the equations of Einstein's General Theory of Relativity. Newton's
theory is revealed as representing a specific and special case when viewed
within the framework of Einstein's General Theory of Relativity, acting as a
theory that supersedes it.
