Perancangan aplikasi sistem pendukung keputusan untuk piranti handphone menggunakan J2ME (Java 2 Micro Edition)

Pengambilan keputusan merupakan aktifitas penting dalam kehidupan sehari-hari. Pengambilan keputusan akan sangat menentukan keberadaan dan perkembangan dalam proses pencapaian tujuan ke depan. Melihat keadaan mobilitas manusia yang semakin tinggi, maka pengambilan keputusan pun harus cepat, akurat dan dapat digunakan sewaktu-waktu, untuk itu perlu adanya sistem pengambilan keputusan yang dapat mendukung mobilitas manusia. Agar dapat membantu pengambilan keputusan sesuai dengan mobilitas manusia yang semakin tinggi, maka sangat cocok bila ada aplikasi pengambilan keputusan yang bisa di akses di piranti handphone. Dengan menggunakan bantuan Personal Computer dan teknologi Java 2 Micro Edition (J2ME), maka akan memungkinkan merancang aplikasi untuk piranti handphone. Dengan menggunakan metode PHA (Proses Hirarki Analitik) dan software yang sudah menerapkan metode PHA yaitu Expert Choice untuk komputer stand alone, maka dapat digunakan sebagai acuan untuk merancang aplikasi Expert Choice yang bisa di akses di piranti handphone. Dengan adanya aplikasi Expert Choice yang dapat di akses di handphone, maka pengguna dapat menggunakan aplikasi tersebut untuk memecahkan masalah pengambilan keputusan dengan sistematis secara mobile.

Decision making represent the important activity in everyday life. Decision making will very determining of existence and growth in course of target attainment forwards. Saw the situation of the mobility of humankind that increasingly high, then decision making must be fast, accurate and could be used from time to time, so needed the existence of the decision support system that could support the mobility of humankind. In order to be able to help decision making in accordance with the mobility of humankind that increasingly high, then very appropriate when having the application of decision making that could access in the mobile phone device. By using aid of Personal Computer and Java 2 Micro Edition (J2ME) technology, then will enable to design the application for the mobile phone device. By using of the Analytic Hierarchy Process (AHP) method and software that has applied the AHP method that is Expert Choice for stand alone computer, then could be used as the reference to design the Expert Choice application that could access in the mobile phone device. With the existence of Expert Choice application which can accessing in mobile phone device, then the user could use of this application to solve the problem of decision making systematicly by mobile.
