PENGARUH SUPLEMENTASI TEPUNG MAGGOT PAA PAKAN KOMERSIAL TERHADAP KINERJA PERTUMBUHAN AYAM BROILER

INTISARI

    Ayam broiler mampu menghasilkan daging alam waktu singkat, utuk menunjang produktivitas yang optimal diperlukan pakan yang berkualitas. Maggot memiliki nilai nutrisi yang cukup tinggi sehingga berpotensi sebagai pakan alternatif. Penelitian ini dilakukan egan tujuan untuk mengetahui pengaruh pemberian tepung maggot alam pakan terhaap kinerja pertumbuhan ayam broiler. Penelitian ini berlokasi di peternakan ayam broiler, Terong, Kecamatan Dlingo, Kabupaten Bantul.Penelitian ini menggunakan 60 ekor ayam day ol chick (DOC) strain Lohmann yang dipelihara selama 33 hari. DOC ditimbang berat awalnya kemudian dikelompokkan secara acak ke dalam 4 perlakuan. Perlakuan tersebut adalah P0 (100% pakan komersial ), P1 (5% tepung maggot + 95% pakan komersial), P2 (10% tepung maggot + 90% pakan komersial), P3 (15% tepung maggot + 85% pakan komersial).  Data hasil penelitian dianalisis menggunakan one way ANOVA dengan Statistical Package for Social Science (SPSS). Perbedaan rerata diuji dengan Duncan't Multiple Range Test (DMRT). Penambahan pakan dega tepung maggot paa level 5% an 10?pat meningkatkan konsumsi pakan, P1= 2797,5, P2= 2820,5. Bobot panen tertinggi pada level 5?n 10% yaitu P1= 1690,67, P2= 1717,0. Konversi pakan beaarkan hasil penelitian yaitu P0= 1,95, P1= 1,72, P2= 1,70 an P3= 1,93. Hasil IOFC tertinggi pada pakan kontrol an pakan perlakuan level 5% yaitu P= 15.383,00, P1= 16. 436,00. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan terjadi perbedaan nyata (P<0>

ABSTRACT

    Broiler chickens are able to produce meat in a short time,to support optimal productivity, quality feed is needed. Maggots have quite high nutritional value so they have potential as an alternative feed. The research was conducted to determine the effect of maggot flour supplementation in feed othe growth performance ofbroiler chickens. The reearch was coducted at a broiler chicken farm, in Terong, Dlingo District, Bantul Regency.  The study used 60 day old chick (DOC) of the Lohmann strain which were reared for 33 days. DOC was initially weighed and then radomly grouped into 4 treatments. The treatments are P0 (100% commercial feed), P1 (5% maggot meal + 95% commercial feed), P2 (10% maggot meal + 90% commercial feed), P3 (15% maggot meal + 85% commercial feed). Research ata were analyzed using one-way ANOVA with  Statistical Package for Social Science (SPSS). Mean differeces were tested using Duncan't Multiple Range Test (DMRT). The addition of maggot flour at levels of 5% an 10% increased feed consumption, with values of P1= 2979,5 and P2= 2820,5. The highest harvest weight at 5% an 10% was recorded as P1= 1690,67 and P2= 1717,00. Feed conversion base on the research results was P0= 1,95, P1= 1,72, P2= 1,70 and P3= 1,93. The highest IOFC was observed in the control feed and the treatmets fee at the 5% level, with values of P= 15.383,00 and P1= 16.436,00, respectively.
