Pengaruh Penambahan Tepung Maggot pada Pakan Komersial Terhadap Performa Ayam Joper

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui pengaruh penambahan tepung maggot pada pakan komersial terhadap performa ayam joper, dengan menggunakan 75 ekor ayam joper yang dipelihara dalam kandang lantai. Variabel yang diamati yaitu konsumsi pakan, bobot badan, dan konversi pakan dengan lima perlakuan yaitu P0 diberikan pakan 100% pakan komersial, P1 diberikan pakan komersial 100?n tepung maggot 2% pada minggu ketiga, P2 diberikan pakan komersial 100?n tepung maggot 4% pada minggu ketiga, P3 diberikan pakan komersial 100?n tepung maggot 2% pada minggu ke enam, serta P4 diberikan pakan komersial 100?n tepung maggot 4% pada minggu ke enam. Setiap perlakuan diulangi sebanyak tiga kali dengan masing-masing ulangan menggunakan lima ekor ayam joper. Data dianalisis menggunakan Rancangan Acak Lengkap (Completely Randomize Design) Pola Searah dengan perangkat lunak personal komputer Statistical Package for Social Science (SPSS) versi 25.0. Jika terdapat perbedaan antar perlakuan, maka dilanjutkan dengan uji Duncan’s new Multiple Range Test (DMRT). Hasil analisis menunjukkan bahwa penambahan tepung maggot pada pakan komersial berpengaruh nyata (P<0>0,05) terdapat pada pertambahan bobot badan ayam joper dan konversi pakan ayam joper.
This study seeks to ascertain the impact of incorporating maggot flour into commercial feed on the performance of joper chickens. The study will be conducted using a sample of 75 joper chickens that will be raised in floor cages. The variables that were measured were the amount of feed consumed, the body weight, and the feed conversion rate. There were five different treatments: P0, which received 100% commercial feed; P1, which received 100% commercial feed and 2% maggot flour in the third week; P2, which received 100% commercial feed and 4% maggot flour in the third week; P3, which received 100% commercial feed and 2% maggot flour in the sixth week; and P4, which received 100% commercial feed and 4% maggot flour in the sixth week. Each treatment was replicated three times, with each replication consisting of five joper chicks. The data were analyzed utilizing a Completely Randomized Design employing the personal computer software Statistical Package for Social Science (SPSS) version 25.0. If there is a discernible disparity between the treatments, it is further evaluated using Duncan's new Multiple Range Test (DMRT). The investigation revealed that including maggot meal into commercial feed had a noteworthy impact (P<0>0.05) were seen in the body weight gain and feed conversion of joper chickens.
