Pembuangan Lumpur Lapindo di Sungai Porong Sidoarjo dalam Perspektif Deep Ecology Arne Naess

Pembuangan Lumpur Lapindo dianalisis dalam perspektif deep ecology Arne Naess. Objek material yang dipilih dalam penelitian ini adalah pembuangan lumpur lapindo di sungai Porong Sidoarjo yang merupakan salah satu contoh dari praktik pengelolaan lingkungan yang bertentangan dengan nilai-nilai deep ecology Arne Naess. Objek material ini dipilih karena memiliki relevansi dengan topik penelitian yaitu untuk mengkaji deep ecology. Pemilihan objek formal menggunakan perspektif deep ecology ini dikarenakan deep ecology merupakan etika yang tidak berpusat pada manusia saja, tetapi berpusat pada makhluk hidup dan makhluk tak hidup seluruhnya. Terdapat permasalahan etis dalam pembuangan lumpur Lapindo di sungai Porong Sidoarjo yaitu antara pembiaran luapan semburan lumpur Lapindo yang tidak segera diatasi akan mengakibatkan jebolnya tanggul kemudian akan merugikan manusia, lebih tepatnya masyarakat sekitar, serta keseimbangan ekosistem sekitar, dengan pembuangan lumpur Lapindo di sungai Porong Sidoarjo yang merusak keseimbangan ekosistem di sekitar sungai Porong termasuk juga merugikan masyarakat sekitar.

Penelitian ini bersifat kualitatif dengan pengumpulan data yang dilakukan melalui studi pustaka. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode hermeneutika kefilsafatan dengan menggunakan unsur-unsur metodis, yaitu verstehen, interpretasi, deskripsi, induksi, dan holistika.

Kesimpulan dari penelitian ini adalah adanya permasalahan etis dalam pembuangan lumpur Lapindo di sungai Porong Sidoarjo yaitu antara pembiaran luapan semburan lumpur Lapindo yang tidak segera diatasi akan mengakibatkan jebolnya tanggul kemudian akan merugikan manusia, lebih tepatnya masyarakat sekitar, serta keseimbangan ekosistem sekitar, dengan pembuangan lumpur Lapindo di sungai Porong Sidoarjo yang merusak keseimbangan ekosistem di sekitar sungai Porong termasuk juga merugikan masyarakat sekitar. . Pembuangan lumpur Lapindo di sungai Porong Sidoarjo adalah sebuah tindakan yang bertentangan dengan nilai-nilai dan prinsip-prinsip deep ecology.

The Lapindo mud disposal was analyzed from the perspective of Arne Naess' deep ecology. The material object chosen in this research is the disposal of Lapindo mud in the Porong River in Sidoarjo, which is an example of environmental management practices that conflict with Arne Naess' deep ecology values. This material object was chosen because it has relevance to the research topic, namely studying deep ecology. The choice of formal objects using a deep ecology perspective is because deep ecology is an ethic that is not centered on humans alone, but is centered on all living and non-living creatures. There is an ethical problem in the disposal of Lapindo mud in the Porong Sidoarjo river, namely between allowing the overflow of the Lapindo mudflow which is not immediately resolved, which will result in the embankment breaking which will then be detrimental to humans, more precisely the surrounding community, as well as the balance of the surrounding ecosystem, and the disposal of Lapindo mud in the Porong Sidoarjo river which destroying the balance of the ecosystem around the Porong river and also harming the surrounding community.

This research is qualitative in nature with data collection carried out through literature study. This research uses the philosophical hermeneutics method using methodical elements, namely verstehen, interpretation, description, induction, and holistic.

The conclusion of this research is that there is an ethical problem in the disposal of Lapindo mud in the Porong Sidoarjo river, namely that allowing the overflow of the Lapindo mudflow which is not immediately resolved will result in the embankment breaking which will then harm humans, more precisely the surrounding community, as well as the balance of the surrounding ecosystem, and the disposal of the Lapindo mud. in the Porong river in Sidoarjo which destroys the balance of the ecosystem around the Porong river and also harms the surrounding community. Disposal Lapindo mud in the Porong Sidoarjo river is an action that is contrary to the values and principles of deep ecology.
