Pengaruh pendidikan kesehatan metode partisipatif terhadap pengetahuan suami tentang pelayanan pemeriksaan kehamilan dan kehamilan risiko tinggi di Kabupaten Bantul

Latar belakang: Penyebab kematian ibu di Indonesia 80 persen berkaitan densan perdarahan, infeksi, toksemia, aborsi tidak aman dan keterlambatan mencari pelayanan kesehatan. Keterlambatan mencari pelayanan kesehatan, disebabkan keterlambatan oleh suami sebagai pengambil keputusan tidak memahami mengenai kehamilan risiko tinggi. Pendidikan kesehatan metode partisipatif akan diuji cobakan dalam penelitian ini adalah mengkombinasikan 3 strategi pembelajaran akti f. yaitu metode lecturing, the leurning cell, dan true or fulse.
Tujuan: Untuk mengetahui perbedaan peningkatan pengetahuan suami tentang kehamilan risiko tinggi dan pelayanan pemeriksaan kehamilan, setelah memperoleh perlakuan pendidikan kesehatan dengan menggunakan metode partisipatif.
Metode: Rancangan penelitian adalah Quusi experimentui dengan pre-test post-rest control group design. Sampel dikelompokkan menjadi 2, yaitu kelompok metode partisipatif dan kelompok kontrol. Jumlah sampel 80 orang yaitu suami yang mempunyai istri sedang hamil. Sampel dipilih melalui purposive sumpling atas dasar karakteristik responden. Analisis yang digunakan untuk mengukur perbedaan perlakuan adalah t test, dan untuk mengetahui hubungan antara variabel luar dengan variabel bebas digunakan analisis multiple regression program komputer dengan taraf signifikansi 5 persen.
Hasil: Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa tidak ada perbedaan karakteristik subjek (umur, pendidikan, pekejaan dan paritas) 'pada kedua kelompok perlakuan dan kontrol. Peningkatan nilai pengetahuan suami mengenai kehamilan risi ko tingg dan pelayanan pemeriksaan kehamilan antara kelompok metode partisipatif (skor rerata 8,98) dan kelompok kontrol (skor rerata 2;13) menunjukkan adanya kemaknaan baik secara statistik (p<0,05), maupun secara praktis. Objectives: This studv was aimed at finding out the difference of husbands knowledge on high-&k pregnancy and pregnancy check-up services, after being provided with health education through participative methods.
Methods: This was a quasi-experimental study with pretest posttest control group design. The samples were divided into 2 groups, the participative and control group. The samples were 80 husbands whose wives were pregnant. The samples were chosen through purposive sampling based on the respondents’ characteristics. The analysis to measure the treatment difference was t-test and multiple‘ regression with computer program was applied to find out the relationship between dependent and independent variables with sigTuficance 5 percent.
Results: Results showed that there were no differences between i,:itenTention and control the two groups their characteristics (age, education, occup;ttion and parity). The increasing husbands knowledge of high-risk pregnancy and pregnancy checkup services between participative-method group (mean score 8.98) and control group (mean score 2.13) showed the significance both statistically and practically. Participative-method, husbands knowledge and number of children have signhcant positive-correlation to increasing of knowledge (pC0.05).
Conclusion: The health education participative method was effective the increasing husband’s knowledge, so that the increasing husband’s knowledge on high-risk pregnancy and pregnancy check-up services, after being provided with health education through participative method.
