Pemenuhan Hak Pekerja pada PT Alpen Food Industry Ditinjau dari Prinsip Keadilan Etika Bisnis

Penelitian ini berjudul Pemenuhan Hak Pekerja pada PT Alpen Food Industry Ditinjau dari Prinsip Keadilan Etika Bisnis. Penelitian ini dilatarbelakangi oleh ramainya pemberitaan di berbagai media terkait demonstrasi yang dilakukan oleh pekerja PT Alpen Food Industry mengenai ketidakadilan atas pemenuhan hak-hak pekerja. Tujuan dari penelitian ini adalah menganalisis secara kritis terkait pemenuhan hak pekerja yang terjadi PT Alpen Food Industry dengan menggunakan sudut pandang keadilan dalam etika bisnis. 

Penelitian ini merupakan penelitian filsafat dengan metode deskriptif kualitatif tentang persoalan aktual dan diperkuat dengan sumber-sumber pustaka seperti buku, jurnal, skripsi, artikel, dan sumber pustaka lainnya yang relevan dengan penelitian ini. Objek material dari penelitian ini adalah pemenuhan hak pekerja pada PT Alpen Food Industry, sedangkan objek formalnya adalah prinsip keadilan dalam etika bisnis. 

Hasil yang didapatkan dari penelitian ini pertama, prinsip keadilan harus dipatuhi oleh pihak yang terlibat dalam kegiatan bisnis agar dapat mencapai tujuan bisnis tanpa melukai harkat dan martabat manusia. Kedua, pesatnya perkembangan bisnis pada PT Alpen Food Industry dengan produk andalannya “Es Krim Aice” berbanding terbalik dengan kesejahteraan pekerjanya. Aksi demonstrasi yang dilakukan pekerja PT Alpen Food Industry merupakan bentuk perjuangan demi memenuhi hak pekerja berupa hak atas upah yang adil, hak untuk berserikat dan berkumpul, serta hak atas perlindungan keamanan dan kesehatan. Ketiga, praktik bisnis pada PT Alpen Food Industry bertentangan dengan prinsip keadilan mengakibatkan tidak terpenuhinya hak pekerja dan perusahaan tersebut hanya berorientasi pada keuntungan, sehingga dalam meraih tujuan dan keuntungan dalam bisnis merugikan hak pihak lain (pekerja). Peranan pemerintah sebagai regulator dibutuhkan dalam memperbaiki kinerja perusahaan agar sesuai dengan hukum yang berlaku dan standar etika. 

This research is entitled The Fulfillment of Workers' Rights at PT Alpen Food Industry in Terms of the Principle of Justice in Business Ethics. This research was motivated by the crowded news in various media related to demonstrations carried out by PT Alpen Food Industry workers regarding injustice about the fulfillment of workers' rights. The purpose of this study is to critically analyze the issue of workers' rights that occurs at PT Alpen Food Industry using the perspective of justice in business ethics. 

This research is philosophical research with descriptive qualitative methods regarding an actual problem reinforced by literature studies such as books, journals, theses, articles, and other library sources relevant to this research. The material object of this research is the fulfillment of workers’ rights at PT Alpen Food Industry, whereas the formal object of this research is the principle of justice in business ethics. 

The result of this research firstly, the principle of justice needs to be applied by everyone involved in business activities so that business goals can be achieved without harming the dignity and worth of others. Secondly, the rapid business development of PT Alpen Food Industry with the flagship product, “Aice Ice Cream” is inversely linked to the welfare of its workers. The demonstration by PT Alpen Food Industry workers was held to stand up for workers' rights to fair salaries, the right to associate and assemble, and security and health protection. Thirdly, PT Alpen Food Industry's business practices counter the principles of justice, resulting in workers' rights not being fulfilled and the company being solely profit-oriented, which leads to the process of obtaining business goals and profits that harm the rights of other parties (workers). The role of the government as a regulator is needed to improve company performance to comply with applicable laws and ethical standards.
