The Indonesian cement industry has experienced remarkable growth and intensified competition over the last decade, evolving into a dynamic industry landscape. As this industry matures, it becomes imperative to examine its current consolidation stage and the strategic approaches employed by the cement companies operating within it. This research investigates how cement companies survive through the consolidation curve, characterised by heightened merger and acquisition activities, and how this pivotal stage manifests in the business strategies adopted by the companies in the sector. By conducting a comprehensive analysis of market dynamics through cement industry data, companies' historical data, and companies' strategy, this study seeks to provide valuable insights into the evolving nature of the Indonesian cement industry, shedding light on the competitive landscape and the strategic actions undertaken by industry leaders to secure their positions in an increasingly competitive marketplace.
