Militerisme Pemuda Kampus: Dinamika Eksistensi Komando Resimen Mahasiswa Dalam Perspektif Generasi

Penelitian ini berfokus pada dinamika eksistensi Resimen Mahasiswa Mahasurya Jawa Timur pasca reformasi. Penelitian ini menggunakan pendekatan kualitatif deskriptif khususnya melalui in-depth interview dan observasi dengan perspektif generasi yang bertujuan membangun pengetahuan dalam mendeskripsikan atau menggambarkan sesuai dengan narasi pengalaman subjektif Menwa Muda. Adapun hasil analisis penelitian menunjukan bahwa, pertama praktik pengkaderan pemuda dengan kondisi kelemahan payung hukum Menwa yang tidak operasional secara teknis memberikan celah munculnya Menwa versi ormas dan memunculkan eksklusivisme Menwa tingkat satuan maupun Menwa daerah lain. Regenerasi yang terhambat dan loyalitas atas dasar kewajiban pengabdian sebagai timbal balik di dalam kondisi kesenjangan sosial. Kedua, revitalisasi Menwa menunjukan wajah baru dengan hadirnya Menwa yang lebih humanis melalui kontribusi dan peranan Menwa dalam bermasyarakat. kontribusi pengabdian pada masyarakat merupakan pengamalan Tri Dharma perguruan tinggi dan Panca Dharma Satya Resimen Mahasiswa Indonesia. Ketiga, residu jejak Glorifikasi pendekatan militeristik yang melekat dalam keseluruhan unsur Menwa utamanya kaderisasi yang bersifat hierarkis dan senioritas kini terkikis namun tetap eksis dalam doktrin organisasi. 

This research focuses on the dynamics of the existence of the East Java Mahasurya Resimen Mahasiswa after reformation period. This research uses a descriptive qualitative approach, primarily through in-depth interviews and observations with a generational perspective aimed at building knowledge by describing or illustrating according to the narrative of the subjective experiences of Young Menwa. The results of the research analysis show that, firstly, the practice of youth cadre formation with the weakness of the Menwa legal umbrella, which is not technically operational, provides an opening for the emergence of a mass organization version of Menwa and gives rise to exclusivism for unit level Menwa and other regional Menwa-stunted regeneration and loyalty based on obligations of service as reciprocity in conditions of social inequality. Second, the revitalization of Menwa shows a new face with the presence of Menwa, who is more humane through the contribution and role of Menwa in society. Contribution to community service is the practice of the Tri Dharma of higher education and Panca Dharma Satya Resimen Mahasiswa Indonesia. Third, the residual traces of glorifying the militaristic approach inherent in all Menwa elements, incredibly hierarchical cadre formation and seniority, are eroded but still exist in the organization's doctrine.
