Analisis Aktivasi Neutron foil emas. Spektrum sampel larutan UNH dianalisis
A(Mo99)[Bq] = 4,650E?10±3,471E?13 f - 7,317±9,434, dan A(99Mo)[Bq] =
Uranyl Nitrate solution is used as a fuel for Mo99 production in the SAMOP system. Several variable considerations need to be taken into account during the irradiation and detection process. The experiment in this thesis was performed to prove the feasibility of Kartini Reactor irradiation facilities for supporting SAMOP objectives in producing Mo99. Uranyl Nitrate solution with natural enrichment irradiation in Kartini TRIGA Mk II Reactor’s Radiography Beamport, Thermal Column and Lazy Susan has been carried out. The experiment variation included flux, Uranium concentration in the sample and sample phase. The solution is prepared by dissolving Uranyl Nitrate Hexahydrate (UNH). The irradiated samples were detected using a low background HPGe detector and related to flux, measured using gold foil with the Neutron Activation Analysis method. The spectrum of the UNH solution sample was analyzed using relative standardization and paying attention to the effect of overlapping peaks. Mo99/Tc99m peak analysis was done using the InterSpec program by fitting the Gaussian function and using irradiation product ratio analysis by solving the depletion chain using OpenMC. Current experiment requires the flux in Lazy Susan to produce a feasible amount of Mo99 from naturally enriched UNH. The relation between activity and fluence (as a substitute for flux in different irradiation time) are A(Mo99)[Bq] = 4.650E?10±3.471E?13 f - 7.317±9.434 and A(Mo99)[Bq] = 2.962E?10±5.027E?14 f - 5.624±1.776 for 1 ml 238.2±2.3 gU/L solution and Solid UNH with 243.2±3.5 mg natural Uranium, respectively. These correlations show that Mo99 production in solution form is higher than in solid form and could increase by concentration. The presence of many produced isotopes caused the peak continuum to cover the peaks which caused excessive or lost counts.
