Prarancangan Pabrik Facial Wash Berbasis Coconut Oil dengan Kandungan Aloe Vera dengan Kapasitas 60.000 Ton/Tahun

Pabrik Facial Wash Berbasis Coconut Oil dengan Kandungan Aloe Vera dirancang dengan kapasitas 60.000 ton/tahun dan beroperasi selama 24 jam/hari dan 330 hari/tahun. Dalam produksi facial wash, dibutuhkan bahan baku yang mayoritas merupakan produk lokal, dengan bahan coconut oil yang disuplai oleh Coconut Center yang berdekatan dengan lokasi pabrik. Proses yang dipilih adalah saponifikasi metil ester (ES-Process) yang terdiri dari 3 tahapan yaitu esterifikasi, interesterifikasi, dan saponifikasi. Reaksi esterifikasi dan interesterifikasi dilakukan pada reaktor 1 pada suhu 60^oC pada tekanan 1 atm. Reaksi ini melibatkan coconut oil dan methanol menghasilkan FAME (fatty acid methyl ester). Hasil berupa FAME kemudian melalui reaksi saponifikasi. FAME bereaksi dengan KOH pada reaktor 2 pada suhu 100^oC pada 1 atm, membentuk sabun dan hasil samping berupa metanol. Sabun ini kemudian dicampur dengan bahan lainnya dan menghasilkan facial wash. Pabrik facial wash direncanakan untuk didirikan di di Kawasan Industri Kulonprogo, Taruban Kulon, Tuksono, Kec. Sentolo, Kabupaten Kulonprogo, Daerah Istimewa Yogyakarta. Pabrik ini direncanakan juga untuk memperkerjakan karyawan sebanyak 149 orang. Untuk keperluan utilitas, diambil sumber air dari PDAM yang kemudian diproses  untuk air proses, air pembangkit steam, air pendingin, dan air keperluan umum sebanyak 5989.8463 kg/jam. Kebutuhan listrik pabrik ini sebanyak  132,9075 HP atau 99109,1057 W serta kebutuhan bahan bakar sebanyak 1385,2960 kg/jam. Pabrik ini memiliki modal tetap sebesar Rp291.084.533.305,73 dan modal kerja sebesar Rp123,762,814,036.89. Berdasarkan evaluasi kelayakan ekonomi, didapatkan nilai ROI before tax sebesar 77,28%, ROI after tax sebesar 38,64%, POT before tax selama 1,15 tahun, POT after tax selama 2,06 tahun, BEP sebesar 57,66%, SDP sebesar 49,57%, dan DCFRR sebesar 41,72%. Dari kriteria-kriteria tersebut, maka dapat dikatakan pabrik ini menarik secara ekonomi dan layak untuk dikaji lebih lanjut.

The Coconut Oil Based Facial Wash Factory containing Aloe Vera is designed with a capacity of 60,000 tons/year and operates 24 hours/day and 330 days/year. In the production of facial wash, the majority of raw materials are local products, together with coconut oil supplied by the Coconut Center Indonesia which is close to the factory location. The process chosen is methyl ester saponification (ES-Process) which consists of 3 stages; namely esterification, interesterification and saponification. The esterification and interesterification reactions were carried out in reactor 1 at a temperature of 60^oC at a pressure of 1 atm. This reaction involves coconut oil and methanol to produce FAME (fatty acid methyl ester). The results in the form of FAME then go through a saponification reaction. FAME reacts with KOH in reactor 2 at a temperature of 100^oC at 1 atm, forming soap and a byproduct in the form of methanol. This soap is then mixed with other ingredients and produces facial wash. The facial wash factory is planned to be built in Kulonprogo Industrial Area, Taruban Kulon, Tuksono, Sentolo, Kulonprogo Regency, Special Region of Yogyakarta. This factory is also planned to employ 149 employees. For utility purposes, the water source is taken from PDAM then processed into process water, steam generator water, cooling water and general purpose water amounting to 5989,8463 kg/hour in total. This factory's electricity requirements are 132,9075 HP or 99109,1057 W and biomass fuel requirements are 1385,2960 kg/hour. This factory has fixed capital of IDR 291.084.533.305,73 and working capital of IDR 123,762,814,036.89. Based on the economic feasibility evaluation, the value of ROI before tax is 77,28%, ROI after tax is 38,64%, POT before tax is 1,15 years, POT after tax is 2,06 years, BEP is 57,66%, SDP is 49,57%, and DCFRR is 41,72%. From these criteria, it concludes that this factory is economically interesting and worthy of further study.
