Peran Efikasi Diri Wirausaha dan Dukungan Sosial terhadap Komitmen Wirausaha pada Peserta Program Mahasiswa Wirausaha UGM (PMW UGM)

Pengangguran terbuka dan terbatasnya lapangan kerja bagi kaum muda menjadi masalah yang masih terus terjadi di Indonesia. Pemerintah Indonesia telah berupaya dalam menanggulangi persoalan pengangguran, salah satunya melalui Program Mahasiswa Wirausaha (PMW) UGM. Wirausaha yang sukses membutuhkan komitmen yang kuat. Sementara itu, komitmen wirausaha dapat dipengaruhi oleh faktor internal, seperti efikasi diri wirausaha, maupun eksternal, seperti dukungan sosial. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menguji peran kedua faktor terhadap komitmen wirausah pada mahasiswa peserta PMW UGM. Skala yang digunakan yaitu Entrepreneural Self Effication Scale, Entrepreneural Commitment Scale, dan The Multidimensional Scale of Perceived Social Support (MSPSS). Partisipan (N=120) merupakan peserta Program Mahasiswa Wirausaha (PMW) UGM. Data dianalisis menggunakan regresi linear berganda. Hipotesis penelitian ini diterima, yaitu bahwa efikasi diri wirausaha dan  dukungan sosial berperan terhadap komitmen wirausaha mahasiswa program PMW UGM.

Unemployment and limited job opportunities for young people are problems that in Indonesia. The Indonesian government has tried to solve the unemployment problem, one of which is through the UGM Student Entrepreneurship Program (PMW). A successful entrepreneur need a strong commitment. Entrepreneurial commitment can be influenced by internal factors, such as entrepreneurial self-efficacy, and external factors, such as social support. The aims of this study is to examine the role of these two factors on entrepreneurial commitment in students participating in PMW UGM. The scales used are Entrepreneural Self Efficacy Scale, Entrepreneurial Commitment Scale, and The Multidimensional Scale of Perceived Social Support (MSPSS). Participants (N=120) were students participating in the UGM Student Entrepreneurship Program (PMW) and alumni of the program. Hypothesis in this study is accepted, that entrepreneurial self-efficacy and social support play a role in the entrepreneurial commitment of UGM PMW program students.
