Dampak sugar group companies dan persepsi Masyarakat sekitar terhadap program corporate social responsibility

2011 | Tesis | S2 AgronomiSugar Group Companies( S CO) m erupakan perusahaan perkebunan tebu dan pabrik gula terpadu hadir sebagai wujud nyata partisipasi swasta daiam pembangunan nasional. Produk gula yang dihasilkan diharapk^ dapat memenuhi kebutuhan dalam negeri, substitusi impor dan dalam jangka panjang jika memungkinkan untuic pengembangan ekspor. SGC yang hadir di tengah masyarakat memberi multiplier effects terhadap kehidupan masyarakat yang berada di sekitar perkebunan, khususnya dalam bidang sosial ekonomi. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui sejauh mana dampak / penganih keberadaan perusahaan SGC terhadap peningkatan kondisi sosial ekonomi masyarakat sekitar. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode survey. Penentuan sampei kampung berdasarkan "Cluster random sampling", dengan katagori kampung tua (asli etnis lampimg) dan kampung pemekaran (penduduk pendatang). Responden dipilih secara acak atau random^ masing - masing kampung 30 orang, total responden 60 orang. Metode analisis data yang digunakan adalah statistik deskriptif. Hasii penelitian menunjukkan bahwa kegiatan CSR SGC meningkat setiap tahun pada semua bidang; persepsi masyarakat terhadap CSR SGC adalah bermanfaat; keberadaan SGC menciptakan kesempatan keija bagi masyarakat dan mendorong masyarakat sekitar untuk berwiraswasta; serta masyarakat setuju terhadap keberadaan SGC dalam hal penyerapan tebaga keija dan kesempatan berwiraswasta.
Sugar Group Companies ( SGC ) is an integrated sugar mill and one of sugar cane company in Indonesia. It has proven itselft that as a private owned company SGC also participating in the government program to help develop the country. Sugar produced by SGC has been distributed to fulfill local needs as well as import substitute goods and long - term planned to be brought outside the country as one of export commodity. The existence of SGC among the society hopefully gives a multiplier effects that will lead to the well - being of neighborhood community, especially in social economy sector. This research is established in order to find the beneficial effects of Sugar Group Companies to the enhancement of the local people's social economy standard. The method used in this research is survey methods. Determination of sample villages according to "cluster random sampling", with the category of an old village (indigenous ethnic L^pung) and village expansion (new settlers). Respondents were selected at random, respectively - each village 30 persons, the total respondents 60 people. Data analysis methods used were descriptive statistics. The results showed that the SGC CSR activities to increase every year in all aspects, SGC public perception of CSR is worthwhile; the presence of SGC create employment opportunities for people and encouraging communities to be entrepreneurial, and community agreed on existence of SGC in terms of employment and entrepreneurial opportunities.
