Penulisan Hukum ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui dan menganalisis bagaimana pelindungan hukum pemain sepak bola profesional ketika mengalami cedera berbasis pada status quo kontrak pemain sepak bola profesional. Penelitian ini juga bertujuan untuk mengetahui dan menganalisis sejauh apa kontrak standar Liga 2 dan kontrak tiga klub sepak bola profesional Liga 1 di Indonesia menjamin pemain sepak bola profesional ketika ia mengalami cedera.
Penulisan hukum ini ditulis menggunakan metode normatif dan empiris. Penulisan ini menggabungkan antara peraturan perundang-undangan (undang-undang Republik Indonesia dan peraturan-peraturan dibawah standar FIFA) yang berlaku saat ini tentang prinsip-prinsip perjanjian, perbuatan melawan hukum, FIFA Regulation on the Status and Transfer of Player (RSTP), asuransi, dan duty of care. Penulisan ini dilakukan menggunakan 2 (dua) tahap), yaitu Penelitian Kepustakaan dan Penelitian Lapangan.
Hasil Penulisan Hukum ini menunjukkan bahwa 1 (satu) kontrak standar Liga 2 Indonesia dan 3 (tiga) kontrak klub Liga 1 masih belum menerapkan Injured Player Warranty Clause (“IPWC”) yang tumpuannya terletak pada just cause, sporting just cause, without just cause, asuransi (proxima causa dan no fault principle), dan duty of care. Di akhir Penulisan Hukum ini, untuk melengkapi hasil penelitian, Penulis memberikan rekomendasi klausul yang memperhatikan 3 (tiga) hal tersebut untuk memberikan contoh perumusan klausul Injured Player Warranty Clause.
JURIDICIAL REVIEW OF LEGAL PROTECTION FOR PROFESSIONAL FOOTBALL PLAYERS WHEN EXPERIENCING INJURIES THROUGH THE INJURED PLAYER WARRANTY CLAUSE

The purpose of this Legal Writing is to understand and analyze the legal protection for professional football players when experiencing injuries based on the current status quo of professional football player contracts. This research also aims to determine and analyze to what extent one standard contract from Liga 2 and three contracts from professional football clubs in Liga 1 in Indonesia provide protection for professional football players when they suffer injuries.
This legal writing is conducted using both normative and empirical methods. It combines relevant legislation (Republic of Indonesia laws and regulations under FIFA standards) currently in effect regarding principles of agreements, unlawful acts, FIFA Regulation on the Status and Transfer of Players (RSTP), insurance, and duty of care. The writing is carried out in two stages: Literature Review and Field Research.
The results of this Legal Writing show that one standard contract from Liga 2 in Indonesia and three contracts from Liga 1 clubs have not yet implemented the Injured Player Warranty Clause (IPWC), which focuses on just cause, sporting just cause, without just cause, insurance (proxima causa and no-fault principle), and duty of care. At the end of this Legal Writing, to complement the research findings, the Author provides recommendations for clauses that consider these three aspects to exemplify the formulation of the Injured Player Warranty Clause.
