PENYUSUNAN JALUR INTERPRETASI ALAM DI KAWASAN WISATA WADUK SERMO DAN SEKITARNYA KABUPATEN KULONPROGO

Pengembangan suatu kawasan alam menjadi sebuah kawasan wisata dapat menimbulkan dampak bagi kawasan tersebut, baik dampak yang negatif maupun dampak positif. Untuk mengurangi dampak negatif yang diakibatkan oleh pengunjung, dapat diupayakan melalui pengembangan ekowisata yaitu wisata yang berbasis pada alam dengan mengikutkan aspek pendidikan dan interpretasi terhadap lingkungan alami dan budaya masyarakatnya dengan pengelolaan kelestarian ekologis. Diharapkan melalui ekowisata pemahaman pengunjung terhadap pentingnya kelestarian alam terbangun sehingga dapat berperilaku ramah terhadap lingkungan. Pendidikan lingkungan hidup merupakan sarana yang sangal diperlukan untuk menjembalani pengunjung terhadap penyadaran lingkungan. Dalam hal ini pembuatan program interpretasi alam dapat memfasilitasi pencapaian target pendidikan lingkungan hidup melalui penjelasan proses-proses alam d._an ekosislem yang ada dikawasan tersebut Penelitian dilakukan untuk menyusun jalur interpretasi alam dengan terlebih dahulu menginventarisasi potensi sumber daya fisik, biotis, sosial,dan atraksi wisata yang ada di kawasan Waduk Sermo dan sekitarnya.Dalam menentukan sample metode yang digunakan adalah stratified purposive sampling, ada lima unit area sampel yaitu Waduk Sermo, Hutan Wisata Sermo bagian Barat, Hutan Wisala Sermo bagian Timur, Hulu Sungai Serang, Pemukiman Desa. Analisis yang dilakukan yaitu analisis potensi visual untuk menilai kualitas pemandangan.Analisis data dilakukan secara deskriptif kualitatif Hasil penelitian menunjukkan kawasan Waduk Sermo dan sekitarnya memiliki potensi berupa obyek dan daya tarik wisata yang beragam antara lain adalah Waduk Sermo, area camping ground di bawah tegakan Mahoni, air terjun buatan dari outlet Waduk Sermo,serta pembuatan gula kelapa secara tradisional oleh masyarakat desa. Bentuk pelayanan interpretasi dapat secara langsung melalui pemandu/interpreter ataupun secara tidak langsung dengan memasang papan-papan informasi di tempat strategis. Jalur interpretasi yang dapat dikembangkan menjadi paket ekowisata ada tiga alternatif : Alternatif pertama: Jalur Nature Leaming dengan rute Waduk Sermo -Hulan Wisata Sermo bagian Baral -Hulan Wisata Sermo bagian Timur -Hulu Sungai Serang -Pemukiman Desa, Jalur Village Culture dengan rule Pemukiman Desa -Hulu Sungai Serang - Waduk Sermo -Hulan Wisata Sermo bagian Barat, Jalur Advanture dengan rute Waduk Sermo -Hulu Sungai Serang -Hutan Wisata Sermo bagian Timur -Hulan Wisata Sermo bagian Barat.

The development the nature area become a tourism area can bring many effects, it can be positive or negative effects. To reduce the negative effect that caused by the visitor, we can create ecotourism development, that is the tourism with the basic of the natural environment and followed with education aspect and the interpretation to the natural environment and social culture with the management of ecologic continuous. It hope with ecotourism visitors understanding about the important of nature continuous can be developed so they can behave smartly to the nature. Environmental education is an appliances that arrangement of nature interpretation program can facilitating the target orientation of environmental education through the explanation of nature process and the ecosystem in the area. The analysis held to arrange the nature interpretation's line by inventoring the potency of physic resource, biophysic, social, and tourist attraction in Sermo reservoir area and surround it before. In sample classification, the method that use is stratified purpose sampling, thera are five units of sample area; Sermo reservoir, Sermo forest resort on west part, Sermo forest resort on east part, Serang upstream, and village residence. The analysis that take is visual the potency analysis to estimate the scenery quality. The file analysis done according qualitative description method The analysis result show that Sermo reservoir area and surround it has potention of object and tourism attraction that very various, for example Sermo reservoir, camping ground,artificial waterfall from outlet of Sermo reservoir, and also coconut sugar traditional production bya village people. The type of interpretation service can get directly from interpreter or indirectly by put the information boards in the strategic place. Interpretation line that can develop become ecotourism packet, there are 3 alternative; First alternative: Nature learning line with Sermo reservoir route -Sermo forest resort on west part -Sermo forest resort on east part - Serang upstream. Second alternative : Village culture line with village residence route -Serang upstream - Sermo reservoir, third alternative : Adventure line with Sermo reservoir route -Serang upstream -Sermo forest resort on east part -Sermo forest resort on west part.
