Pengembangan Sistem Informasi Teledentistry Berbasis Web Di Puskesmas Kebayoran Baru

Kesehatan gigi dan mulut, dengan karies gigi sebagai penyakit umum, memengaruhi 3.5 miliar jiwa di seluruh dunia. Tingginya kasus gigi berlubang pada anak-anak, terutama di Jakarta, menandakan kebutuhan mendesak akan perawatan kesehatan gigi terstandardisasi. Program UKGS di Sekolah Dasar, terutama di Kebayoran Baru, telah berhasil memberikan akses perawatan gigi. Di era pandemi, optimalisasi program pemantauan kesehatan gigi anak dan teledentistry melalui Puskesmas menjadi kunci. Pengembangan sistem teledentistry menawarkan solusi inovatif dengan potensi besar untuk meningkatkan skrining awal kesehatan gigi dan memberikan rekomendasi tepat bagi pasien

Metodologi pengumpulan data dalam sistem informasi teledentistry ini melibatkan studi pustaka untuk menggali literatur terkait sistem teledentistry. Selain itu, wawancara dengan dokter gigi di Puskesmas Kebayoran Baru dilakukan untuk mendapatkan beragam respons dari pertanyaan yang diajukan. Pengembangan sistem dimulai dengan analisis kebutuhan di klinik. Tahap desain menciptakan struktur berdasarkan data yang telah diperoleh. Proses pengkodean menerjemahkan desain ke dalam sistem website. Pengujian dilakukan akhir untuk memastikan sistem berjalan dengan baik.

Sistem informasi teledentistry ini dibangun dengan menggunakan framework Laravel dengan HTML, PHP, CSS,  javascript, serta mySQL sebagai basis data. Sistem ini juga menggunakan rest api untuk pertukaran data antar sistem. Hasil alpha testing menunjukkan bahwa fungsionalitas sistem telah berfungsi dengan baik. Hasil beta testing menunjukkan bahwa sistem telah sesuai dan mudah untuk dioperasikan.

Dental and oral health, with tooth decay as a common disease, affects 3.5 billion people worldwide. The high incidence of cavities in children, especially in Jakarta, indicates an urgent need for standardized dental health care. The UKGS program in elementary schools, particularly in Kebayoran Baru, has successfully provided access to dental care. In the era of the pandemic, optimizing the monitoring of children's dental health and implementing teledentistry through Community Health Centers (Puskesmas) is crucial. The development of the teledentistry system offers an innovative solution with great potential to enhance early dental health screening and provide precise recommendations for patients.

The data collection methodology in this teledentistry information system involves a literature review to explore relevant teledentistry system literature. In addition, interviews with dentists at the Kebayoran Baru Community Health Center were conducted to obtain diverse responses to the posed questions. The system development begins with an analysis of the clinic's needs. The design phase creates a structure based on the acquired data. The coding process translates the design into a website system. Testing is performed at the end to ensure the system functions.

The teledentistry information system is constructed using the Laravel framework, along with HTML, PHP, CSS, JavaScript, and mySQL as the database. Additionally, the system employs a REST API for data exchange between systems. The results of alpha testing indicate that the system's functionality has performed effectively. Beta testing results demonstrate that the system is both suitable and user-friendly.
