Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui "lndependensi RRI Perbandingan Era Orde Baru dan Era Reformasi (Studi kasus di RRI Gorontalo)". Penelitian ini menggunakan metode deskriptif untuk memperoleh gambaran tentang lndependensi RRI Gorontalo di Era Reformasi dan Informasi sebagai upaya mendapatkan informasi ilmiah mengenai keberadaan RRI Gorontalo dalam upaya pencarian berbagai informasi untuk perbaikan-perbaikan RRI Gorontalo ke depan. Penelitian ini dilaksanakan secara survei kepada pendengar RRI Gorontalo, Untuk memudahkan penelitian tanpa mengurangi substansi, maka penelitian ini menggunakan sampel. Sampel ditentukan dengan menggunakan teknik Simple Random Sampling. Dari responden ini diperoleh gambaran kuantitatif independensi RRI. Data temuan penelitian dianalisis secara deskriptif yang meliputi: analisis deskriptif terhadap hasil wawancara tentang fungsi RRI Gorontalo dalam perspektif pendengar, membuat sintesis hasil wawancara untuk menemukan fungsi RRI Gorontalo dalam perspektif pendengar, melakukan pengo!ahan data secara deskriptif untuk menampilkan data dalam bentuk tabel, prosentase, dan grafik berdasarkan faktor Independensi maupun berdasarkan tipe isi materi siaran, analisis deskriptif terhadap tabel basil pengolahan data, analisis deskriptif terhadap grafik pengolahan data. Hasil pene!itian menunjukkan bahwa Pertama, RRI Gorontalo telah berubah menjadi sebuah Iembaga penyiaran publik yang menjadi media bagi semua stakeholders. Kedua, arah perubahan RRI Gorontalo telah terumuskan dengan baik, Ketiga, independensi RRI di era reformasi dan informasi mencakup lima faktor yaitu faktor bebas, faktual, tegas, mutakhir, dan penggunaan sumber langsung. Keempat, siaran RRI gorontalo telah dikemas secara independen. Kelima, siaran RRI Gorontalo telah dikemas secara faktual. Keenam, Siaran RRI Gorontalo dalam perspektif pendengar cenderung kurang tegas. Ketujuh, siaran RRI Gorontalo dalam perspektif pendengar dinilai kurang mutakhir, Kedelapan, siaran RRI Gorontalo cenderung menggunakan sumber langsung dalam siarannya. Kesembilan, secara umum siaran RRI Gorontalo telah dikemas secara independen dalam bentuk bebas tetapi kurang tegas, pada materi siaran ekonomi cenderung faktual dan kurang tegas dan materi siaran agama cenderung bebas dan kurang mutakhir

This research goal was to understand the "Comparative RRI Independenee in New Order and Reformation Eras (a Case Study in RRI Gorontalo). This research used a descriptive method to obtain illustration on RRI Gorontalo Independence in New Order and Reformation Eras as efforts to gain scientific information on existence of RRI Gorontalo in order to look for information as future improvements of RRI Gorontalo. This research was conducted by surveying RRI Gorontalo's listeners. To ease the research without reducing substance, this research used samples. The samples were determined using Simple Random Sampling technique. A quantitative illustration of RRI Independence came from respondents. The findings were analyzed descriptively, including: To analyze descriptively results of interview on RRI Gorontalo function in perspectives of listeners; to synthesize results of interview for finding the RR! Gorontalo function in perspectives of listeners; to process data descriptively for retrieving data in forms of tables, percentages, and graphics based on independence factor and types of broadcasting material contents; to analyze descriptively tables of data processing results; and to analyze descriptively graphics of data processing. The results of research indicated that; first, RRI Gorontalo had changed into a public broadcasting institution being media for all stakeholders; second, change direction of RRI Gorontalo had been defined well; third, RRI independence in reformation era and information included five factors, independent, factual, firm, current, and use of instant source; fourth, broadcasting of RR! Gorontalo had been packaged independently; fifth, the broadcasting of RRI Gorontalo had been packaged factually; sixth, the broadcasting of RRI Gorontalo in perspectives of listeners tended to be considered to be less current; eight, the broadcasting of RRI Gorontalo tended to use direct source in its broadcast; Ninth, generally, the broadcasting of RRI Gorontalo had been packaged independently in independent but fmn forms, the economic broadcast materials tended to be factual and less firm and the religious broadcast materials tended to be independent and less current.
