Pengaruh Pemberian Tiga Pakan Pabrikan Berbeda Terhadap Pertumbuhan Ayam Joper yang Dipelihara oleh Masyarakat Kalurahan Banjararum, Kalibawang, Kulon Progo

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui pakan pabrikan yang dapat meningkatkan produktivitas ayam Joper. Penelitian dilakukan di Desa Banjararum, Kalibawang, Kulon Progo. Penelitian ini menggunakan 240 ekor ayam Joper yang kemudian dibagikan kepada 12 peternak, sehingga satu peternak mendapatkan 20 ekor ayam Joper. Penelitian dilakukan selama 4 minggu, dan pengambilan data dilakukan seminggu sekali. Pakan yang digunakan adalah pakan komersial pakan starter ayam pedaging BRO-1 CR Retail produksi PT. CJ Cheiljedang Feed Semarang (CJ), Palma PB-1 produksi Japfa Comfeed Indonesia Tbk (JC), dan BR99 produksi PT. Mulia Harvest Agritech. (MH). Data yang digunakan meliputi pertumbuhan bobot badan (g/ekor), konsumsi pakan (g/ekor), konversi pakan, dan mortalitas. Data dianalisis statistik menggunakan ANOVA yang disusun berdasarkan Rancangan Acak Lengkap Pola Searah, kemudian diuji lanjut menggunakan LSD (Least Significant Different). Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa pemberian tiga pakan pabrikan yang berbeda hasilnya berbeda nyata terhadap konsumsi pakan dan pertumbuhan bobot badan dan konversi pakan. Rerata konsumsi pakan CJ, JC dan MH berturut-turut yaitu 492,54"±" 90,33, 485,70"±" 167,44, dan 434,88"±" 81,07 g/ekor. Rerata bobot badan perlakuan CJ, JC dan MH berturut-turut yaitu 192.33"±" 41.10, 156.67"±" 46.95 dan 130.43"±" 23.17 g/ekor. Rerata konversi pakan CJ, JC dan MH berturut-turut yaitu 2.78"±" 0.46, 3.33"±" 0.31 dan 3.51"±" 0.35 dan rerata mortalitas perlakuan CJ, JC, dan MH berturut-turut yaitu 6,25, 6,25 dan 26,25%. Hasil penelitian dapat disimpulkan bahwa pemberian tiga pakan pabrikan berbeda terhadap pertumbuhan ayam Joper berpengaruh nyata terhadap konsumsi pakan, pertambahan bobot badan, dan konversi pakan ayam Joper.

This study aimed to determine the commercial feed that can improve the productivity of Joper chickens. The research was conducted in Banjararum Village, Kalibawang, Kulon Progo. A total of 240 Joper chickens were used in this study and distributed among 12 farmers, with each farmer receiving 20 Joper chickens. The study was conducted for 4 weeks, and data collection was performed once a week. The feeds used were commercial feeds, including BRO-1 CR Retail starter feed for meat chickens produced by PT. CJ Cheiljedang Feed Semarang (CJ), PB-1 feed produced by Japfa Comfeed Indonesia Tbk (JC), and BR99 feed produced by PT. Mulia Harvest Agritech (MH). The data collected included body weight gain (g/chicken), feed consumption (g/chicken), feed conversion ratio, and mortality. The data were analyzed using statistical methods, including one-way ANOVA based on a completely randomized design, followed by the Least Significant Difference (LSD) test. The results of the research showed that giving three different manufactured feeds had significantly different results on feed consumption, body weight growth and feed conversion. The average feed consumption for CJ, JC and MH was 492.54"±" 90.33, 485.70"±" 167.44, and 434.88"±" 81.07 g/head respectively. The mean body weights of the CJ, JC and MH treatments were 192.33 "±"  41.10, 156.67"±" 46.95 and 130.43"±" 23.17 g/head, respectively. The mean feed conversion rates for CJ, JC and MH were respectively 2.78"±" 0.46, 3.33"±" 0.31 and 3.51"±" 0.35 and the average mortality for CJ, JC and MH treatments were 6.25, 6.25 and 26.25% respectively. The results of the research can be concluded that giving three different manufactured feeds to the growth of Joper chickens has a significant effect on feed consumption, body weight gain and feed conversion of Joper chickens.
