National evaluation conducted in 2022 revealed that 38% of clinical supervisors in South Sulawesi could not give feedback effectively.  Lack of knowledge and skills in giving structured feedback is suspected to be the cause. To overcome this problem, we propose a training in giving feedback using the "Four Component" (4C/ID) instructional design model. Objective: To evaluate the effectiveness of training in giving feedback to clinical supervisors Program Internsip Dokter Indonesia (PIDI) using the 4C/ID model instructional design, as well as identifying the transfer of knowledge and skills in practical situations. Method: The research used mixed methods with a pre-experimental approach involving PIDI clinical supervisors as research subjects. Training in giving feedback was carried out using the 4C/ID model instructional design. Kirkpatrick's evaluation was carried out through satisfaction questionnaires, measuring knowledge and skills before, immediately after and for six months after training. Focus group discussions were conducted to collect qualitative data. Results: The results of the study showed that training with the 4C/ID model instructional design was well received by clinical supervisors. There was a significant increase in knowledge and skills immediately after attending the training, however the transfer of knowledge tended to be inversely proportional to the transfer of skills in practical situations after 6 months, knowledge decreased significantly (p value 0.049) but skills still increased significantly (p value 0.001). Conclusion: Training using the "4C/ID" model has been proven to improve the skills of PIDI clinical supervisors in giving feedback. Dampak Pelatihan Pemberian Umpan Balik Menggunakan Desain Instruksional Four Component Model "4C/ID" Bagi Dokter Pendamping Program Internsip Dokter Indonesia (PIDI): Sebuah Penelitian Mixed Method

Latar belakang: Indonesia telah melaksanakan Program Internsip Dokter Indonesia (PIDI) sejak tahun 2003. Evaluasi nasional yang dilakukan pada tahun 2022 menunjukkan bahwa 38% Dokter Pendamping di Sulawesi Selatan belum maksimal dalam memberikan umpan balik secara efektif. Kurangnya pengetahuan dan keterampilan dalam memberikan umpan balik yang terstruktur ditengarai menjadi penyebabnya. Untuk mengatasi masalah tersebut, kami mengusulkan sebuah pelatihan pemberian umpan balik dengan menggunakan model desain instruksional "Four Component" (4C/ID).


Tujuan: Mengevaluasi efektivitas pelatihan pemberian umpan balik kepada dokter pendamping Program Internsip Dokter Indonesia (PIDI) dengan menggunakan desain instruksional model 4C/ID, serta mengidentifikasi transfer pengetahuan dan keterampilan dalam situasi praktis.


Metode: Penelitian mempergunakan metode campuran dengan pendekatan pra eksperimental yang melibatkan dokter pendamping PIDI sebagai subjek penelitian. Dilakukan pelatihan pemberian umpan balik dengan desain instruksional model 4C/ID. Evaluasi Kirkpatrick dilakukan melalui kuisioner kepuasan, pengukuran pengetahuan dan keterampilan sebelum, sesaat setelah dan selama enam bulan setelah pelatihan. Diskusi kelompok terfokus dilakukan untuk mengumpulkan data kualitatif.


Hasil: Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa pelatihan dengan desain instruksional model 4C/ID dapat diterima dengan baik oleh dokter pendamping PIDI. Terjadi peningkatan yang signifikan dalam pengetahuan dan keterampilan sesaat setelah mengikuti pelatihan, namun transfer pengetahuan cenderung berbanding terbalik dengan transfer keterampilan pada situasi praktis setelah 6 bulan, pengetahuan menurun secara signifikan (p value 0,049) namun keterampilan masih meningkat secara signifikan (p value 0,001).


Kesimpulan: Pelatihan dengan menggunakan model “4C/ID” terbukti dapat meningkatkan keterampilan Dokter Pendamping PIDI dalam memberikan umpan balik.
